Chapter 6

Lisa's POV

"Lisa! Hey, Lalisa! Don't you have school today?" I woke up to my mom yelling at me.

I reached for my phone and saw that it's already 7:30 am. "Fuck!"

"Hey, watch your language!!"

"Sorry mom!" I said as I sprint towards the bathroom.

My first class starts at 8:00 am. I'm so effin' late. I showered as fast as I could, got dressed, and grabbed a breakfast to go.

Damn it. This is my third time being late for my Physics class since the semester started. And it only started last week. Just great.

When I finally got to class, it was already 8:20 am. Mr. Kim was writing something on the blackboard and I thought maybe I can sneak in without him noticing.

I put my index finger to my lips to shush my classmates. Then I bent down low and tried my best to walk without a sound.

Suddenly, a foot appeared in front of me and I tripped. I fell on the floor and so did my books. I looked up and saw that it's Sana. She smirked at me and I gave her the middle finger real quick. She's such a dick. I swear I'm gonna get back at her one day.

Startled by the noise, Mr. Kim turned around. "Oh, it's you. You're late, Ms. Manoban... Again."

Then my classmates started laughing. "I'm so sorry, Mr. Kim."

"Have a seat." Phew. Glad that was over.

I picked up my books and started looking for a vacant seat. To my surprise, I saw her again. The girl from the ice cream store, Jennie.

I sat beside her.

We looked at each other at the same time and I decided to speak first. "Hey, have we met? You really look like someone I've seen last night."

"Two scoops of chocolate fudge brownie?" She smiled. "Yeah, that was me serving you ice cream."

"I knew it! Nice meeting you, Jennie. Uh- I saw your nametag last night."

"And you are?"

"Lisa," I said with a smile.

"Nice meeting you, too, Lisa." She smiled back.
