I sat next to my Uncle in his class waiting for the phone to ring. He was teaching and I was on my phone. He'd occasionally hit me to pay attention but I was too anxious waiting for Viviana to call.
I watched as the young agents tended to glance at me. I doubt they understand why I'm even in the class. The phone rang loudly and I almost dropped it. I ran to my Uncle's office to answer. Not even looking at the caller ID.
"Hello?" I said feeling my pockets. I pulled out the phone Viviana can contact me on and I realized I was answering my own phone.
"Can we talk?"
I pulled the phone off my ear and read the name. Evan
"About?"
"We haven't talked since we were outside the bathroom. I really miss talking to you."
My body felt warm and I beamed brightly. "Right now I'm in Agent Sader's class meet me outside."
"I'll be there in a minute." He hung up and I left the room. My Uncle looked at me.
"Was it her?"
"No. I'll be right outside the door ok?" I said waving the phone with Viviana's number then putting it on the desk.
I entered the hallway to watch Evan come up from the floor. I helped him up and he put his hand out. I went to shake it but he retracted it and made a face.
We did the hand shake immediately loosing the awkward feeling. "Did anyone tell you that I'm leaving?" I mumbled mid turn.
"A mission?"
"Sort of."
"Are you ready?"
"No." I laughed. "I don't-"
"You're Morgan. You have nothing to be worried about."
I smiled. "Thats the nicest thing I heard in a while. I'm gonna miss you."
"I'll miss you more." He said opening his arms. I gave him the hug he wanted and held on. Hoping to enjoy what could be my last moments with him.
He let go of me and we awkwardly stared at each other. There wasn't really much to talk about, and plus I cant leave the room until Viviana calls.
He sat down and patted the spot next to him. I sat and sighed. "Jesus I'm really going to Hydra."
"Do you know how long you are going to be there?"
"My aunt says at least a week. "
"A week? How will I ever survive." He asked pretending to faint across my lap.
"Morgan." A student opened the door. "Agent Sader said the phone is ringing for you."
I nodded and Evan sat up. I blew him a kiss and winked. "Don't do anything I wouldn't do."
He raised his arm up to catch the kiss I sent and laughed. I disapeared behind the door trying to escape how adorable he is.
I picked up the phone. "Good Morning Morgan."
"You sound happy."
"Todays the day you're coming to see me."
"Where do you want me to go?"
"You pick. I don't really care."
"Let's go to my fathers house." I mumbled glancing at my uncle. He was already contacting Aunt Riley.
"Be there by 4 o'clock. Alone please" She hung up and I put the phone down.
