I'm in Love With the Moon

Hey, it's me again... I'm currently crying and I think I'm in Love with the moon

It's so beautiful and bright, yet so mysterious

The way it shifts and turns throughout it's cycle revealing its self bit by bit

When its light starts to dim, it is a thing that you don't notice until it is gone
Then you look around frantically trying to find it

When you see the crescent of light start to bloom, you find yourself looking to it each and every night until it shows its self in its full entirety.

With you, I feel like you can't complete your cycle

The thought of you disappearing is giving me anxiety

I want to see your beauty which I know is there but every time I get close enough to dance in your light, you go back to phase one

Your soul is so alluring I'm not quite sure how It makes me feel

It's a feeling I've never felt

I dont think its love, but it's too much for friendship

You've brought to me something I've never experienced,
It's from another world

You've unlocked feelings from another world

You told me you had super powers once, but they were ones that don't matter to this world

Is that your super power? Unlocking things? Is it worthless because nobody likes to reveal their true feelings? No one like to reveal themselves to people for who they really are?

You're unlike anyone and anything on this earth

All I can ever think about is all the new experiences we could have together
I want to be the reason you smile or the reason you relearned how to smile

I'm rambling and I make no sense

It's raining outside now, all I hear is my thoughts and the pitter patter against the roof

I can't stop crying 'cause I think you're gone for good

It took so long to find someone like you and I can't wrap my head around this

I didn't even get to give you the poem I wrote for you

You've got the worlds most prettiest eyes in the most perfect shade of blue

Why won't you let me see your light? Is my light too blinding for you?

Do you feel the same thing I do?

A feeling thats unknown to you

Are you scared is that why you're leaving?

Or am I not enough to be given
your light, your love, your trust?

I can't believe I could be losing you
