My lips have a quiver, my eyes are wide

I'm front and center, nowhere to hide

My faults on the table, my fears are on my sleeve

Pride is too low, full of greed

I'm teetering sideways and my blood is dirty

Scavenging dreams, I'm young and hungry

What do you see when you look at me?

Can you see my struggle?
Do you hear me cry?
Do you watch me crumble?

Compliments too many, prayers galore, got bundles of pennies for all of my trouble

Do you see a girl, a sprouting woman?

Do you see a heart? An evil illusion.

Budding flower, full of blood

Give and give, still no good

Do you see my veins when I scream?

Do you like my pain?
Do I like my pain?

What do you see?
