The new me.

The next day, I was feeling good. I mean I loved everything around me. I was smiling continuously. And I didn't even know what was the reason.

When I get in the class, Veronicca is already sitting in our seat.

"Morning" I greeted and kept my bag on my bench.

To my surprise she hugged me tight and said "Morning" cheerfully. These kind of gestures are very foreign to me. I mean I don't even remember when I hugged  someone last time.

"What's the matter you seem so Happy today?" I asked her cause I felt like something's there

"You know what, My friend from America has taken admission here, And m so Happy" She said Stretching 'So' more than usual. 

"Her boyfriend already studies here, and Today is her First day" She continued.

"Ohh woww that's great, Shes in Literature section too?" 

"No, She is a Science student, so is her boyfriend" She said, Boyfriend. Great!

"What's her name?" 

"Mandy, You'll love her, She writes poems too." veronica said and covered her mouth with her hands. I frowned and asked her "How do you know that I write poems"

"Erm just like that" she said, without making eye contact. "Tell me?" I said.

"Actually Louis told me" I felt slightly nervous. Before two days, No one knew about me, that I write poems. And now Veronica and Louis knows.

Mention of Louis reminded me of Journal.

Ma'am arrived and classes started.

When the recess bell rang I picked up the List of Items and started walking towards Louis. He had his head down. He was scribbling something. I was feeling soo Light weighted, like butterflies in my Stomach.

I coughed slightly and said "Louis?"

He looked up and his eyes got wider. He suddenly closed is book as if hes Hiding something from me.

He composed himself and said "Ohh Hii."

I adjusted my glasses and said "Actually I've made a list of things we'll need for the project. And I was thinking If you can get them soo we can start working with the Journal."

He smiled showing his sparkling eyes and white teeth. He said "Sure I will get them today"

"we can split money for the payment afterwards" I said handing him the List.

"No, that's alright." he said looking down at the list. He frowned when he saw my number written on it.

"Um, call me if you don't get any item. I'll get them tomorrow then" I said explaining him. 

He smiled at me and said "Okay I will"

I turned around to walk away but he said "Um, Daisy, when we'll start working on this?" he said adjusting his hairs.

"Whenever you want, I don't know when and where we can work." I said. I'm very excited ,confused, and nervous about journal.

"Actually I was thinking that you can come to my place, as you said you live three lanes away from the pizza shop." he said Smiling.

Oh he remembers it. "Where do you live?" I asked him.

"Just two house away from the pizza shop" He said Grinning.

It made me smile. "Okay let me know when you get things, I'll ask my mum and tell you" I said and smiled. Telling dad about me working with a male partner is a bad Idea, so I choosed my mum.

"Okay " He said . Looking down with a Smile.

I got back to my seat and Picked up my diary to go to the tree trunk. But Veronicca Stopped me in the doorway she was standing with a Girl and a Boy.

Girl had her Lab coat on. She was looking very good with her hairstyle. She had long hairs open , pushed back with a hair band. And the boy had his forehead covered hairs. He had brown eyes. Tall, Smart and his smile was flawless.

"This is Mandy my friend" Veronica said and gestured towards the girl.

"Hey" I said and smiled at her. But she too Hugged me. A tight warm hug. "Hiee!" She said, In a cheerful voice. So much like veronica.

"And this is Liam, Mandy's Boyfriend" She said and Gestured at Liam. "And Liam this is Daisy"

He nodded and said "Hii." Gesturing me to shake hands with him. I was never this much comfortable with boys, but Liam made it comfortable for me.

"You ain't going anywhere, come lets eat something."  Veronica said and pulled me out. without giving me any chance to protest.

We sat on a table backwards. Liam decided to give the order and Veronica joined him. The way Liam Whispered something to Mandy before leaving, and the way mandy blushed. is just so sweet.

When they leaved I had an urge to ask her something. And my mouth spilled out the words suddenly. "From how long you guys've been together?"

She Smiled and said "Um its been 4 years." Wow four years is a long time.

"Wow" I said. "How long hes been studying here?" I asked. I swear this girl will think that I'm crazy. We've just met and I'm asking her such questions.

"Oh Liam, hes here from last 2 years" She said.

"You kept this relationship across the countries?" I asked little shocked.

"No, not at all, I trust him more than myself girl, we've made some promises. which means more than anything to me. I will never let him go. hes the sweetest heart." she blushed and looked at Veronica and Liam coming towards us.

To my own shock I aww'd at her words. Whats happening to me.

We had our lunch, I didn't even realized that I was starving by then that I cleared my plate without any sign of food.

"Hmm someone was Hungry" Veronica teased and Continued eating. I punched her playfully and she raised her hands in defense.

I love this new me. I'm being play full. I'm smiling more than usual . And even Sitting in canteen and having lunch with my friends. Are they my friends? Yes, Cause Veronica's words had some affect on me for sure.
