as the vital was undergoing only a few days of the 2 week event while everyone was enjoying the goodtime of the event from the food, sightseeing, and the Remnant tournament everything was bright and happy. though in the shadows is were a threat lurked those who wish for control, some wish for control, while four people in particular were looking for a paycheck and a reason to let loose. that group were the Mercenaries, willing to do anything for a paycheck. that includes Locus and Felix. and now they have a job that will have bring another civil world war just like chorus. after being filled in they made their plan and objectives to execute.

"alright Felix your our leader in this what do we got" Locus said as he was in the proses of cleaning his rifle in his suit minus the helmet, Elly was in casual clothing in cargo pants and a tank top wearing goggles as she went to work on some new gear and equipment, and Jana was checking her inventory for her medical supplies while in the traditional Charon Military uniform. soo their attention was brought to their new leader Felix or Jaune Arc as he activated the hollo table showing beacon academy "well it wasn't easy thanks to our riflemen Locus I've managed to get a better look into the place to see what's changed and of course security is amped up heavy" Felix said as he placed his hands on the table as he swiped some bullets and gun out of the way "how much is a 'heavy upgrade' in this case" Jana the teams Combat Medic asked while giving air quotes on the security "well to answer your question more military personal from atlas kind of heavy" Locus said as he set his rifle down carefully and walked over to the planning table as the other two joined "he's right when I went on the recon mission with Locus I was on the ground getting a better look at blind spots, patrol routines, and even were their keeping things of interest which I managed to get a glimpse of and I have to say with all that gear and weapons its like there expecting an army of some kind" Elly jumped in on the topic as she wiped some soot off her face as she marked out the locations of the patrols and other things including a list of teams she saw "good job Elly gold star for you on the fridge, now these blind spots you mentioned tell me more" Felix asked as this caught his attention "what she refers too is the places were there is a minimum to almost none on guarding so it can make getting into things easier but what we want is were we see the most of them" "meaning the airships?" Felix questioned as he looked at the security level were the Atlas ships are "that's correct and that means one thing" Locus said as Jana spoke up "our VIP is held there which will mean that we'll need to split up but only a designated times" The doc spoke as she looked at who the VIP was "which brings me to a good question. What was the meeting yesterday like" Jana asked as Felix gave a look of deep thought "well its was certainly worth my time after all this is one hell of a job" Felix said as he though about yesterdays privet meeting took place

Mistral September 30th 1:15 AM (Flashback)

the meeting room Felix was placed in was filled with deep red the leather couches mini bar off to the side of the room, and its occupants 'red, why is it always gotta be red I swear this is a running gag or something and why a club last time I was here me and locus shot it up looking for ONE guy' Felix thought as he sat in front of his 'employer' "soooooo are you gonna speak or do I have to do what I did last time to get someone talking though I don't mind" Felix bragged as he twirled a knife between his fingers, as the girl in green whispered in Cinder's ear. "why him he's obviously too cocky and likely to ruin this mission!" the girl whispered as Cinder simply smiled "relax Emerald there's nothing to worry about I'm very confident this group of highly skilled mercenaries would not fail me if payed handsomely isn't that right Felix." Cinder asked as she gestured to the black and orange merc as he gave a smirk behind his visor "indeed glad to see we see eye to visor Ms. Fall." Felix said as he keep his eye on the two unknows that Locus was watching closely from the next building over with his camouflage active and a thermal scope added to his rifle as he sees the dozen guards guarding the room insuring nothing is pulled or anyone comes in smart but leaves one problem is things go south, Felix's not trapped in there with them. They're trapped in there with him. "glad to see it now emerald, do you question my choices?" Cinder asked as Emerald saw fire in her bosses eyes and slightly flinched as she looked at the ground "N-no Mam." emerald replied back "then we don't have any problems, now back to business we need a few missions from you and your group so here's what we got" Cinder Snapped her fingers as a small woman wearing pink, brown, and white walked up and handed Felix a folder. as he opened it he saw pictures of three different areas first was Beacon Academy, the second was an Atlas air fleet, and the third was the Vital Tournament Colosseum. as Felix rubbed the chin of his helmet "and were are we doing here exactly cause I don't think a rolling thunder will be necessary unless you want some big fireworks but its gonna be a major 'Danger Close'" Felix chuckled as the girl next to him eyes light up seeing as she seemed to enjoy colorful fireworks "not this time Felix but what wee need is simple you given three objectives first the academy we need a major layout of the school while simple everyone would turn their heads at 'students' snooping around restricted areas of the school" "meaning you need me and my squads to use our tech to do some snooping undetected and unseen?" Felix finished Cinders Explanation "yes and also I hope you or someone in your team is good with explosives?" Cinder asked as Felix simply nodded as he laid down the next folder "the Colosseum, what's their and the grounds?" Felix asked as he looked over the pictures "we need you to be acting as students and enter the tournament we already have the place rigged so if their are any teams you wish to fight and take out then let me know" Cinder said as Felix Laughed "oh yeah, I'll keep that in mind" Felix said as he would enjoy the thought of a rigged system, now last we have a V.I.P to secure his name is Roman Torchwick" Cinder said as she gave Felix a file on the V.I.P as he looked it over 'oh shit isn't this the guy who got his ass kicked by ruby hahaha I'm so gonna ruin his day with this' "so I take it he's in the giant ship commanded by sir Iron dick right?" Felix said as he laid down the files and put them back into the file, and set it down "indeed that is all now you have you mission now the fun part name your price" Cinder said as Felix got up out of his seat and walked to the mini bar and grabbed a bottle of whisky and brought back two five shot glasses and sat back down and popped off the top "looking at all of this I would say  five hundred million lien total but we require half payed up front" Felix said as gave a solid face or would if not for the helmet "seems a little high Felix but if you can prove me well for the first part you will have it" Cinder said as she was slightly surprised by the cost it would take to pay as Felix responded by giving a exaggerated hum "tempting but from were I come from I know better not to take that so I will ask again Five hundred million lien pay half upfront or I raise the price" Felix said putting his foot down, as Cinder seemed to smirk and shake her head and stand up " I still don't believe we can make that deal" she said as soon as those words left her mouth a bright blue object was activated and pointed at her and everyone else ready their weapons and aimed them at Felix as he kept his sword pointed at Cinder knowing their bullets wont do anything but scratch his armor. "now cinder the price was just raised or do I need to take drastic measures, one thing we have in common Ms. Fall we both wont give up and back down from something when we have our eye's set till death so you should know that I fully expect a blood bath today to ensure I always win and get my way how else do you think I managed to start a planet wide civil war and with the biggest paycheck the trumps this worlds currency" Felix said as he dropped a pad on the table showing what he and Locus did on Chorus as it shocked everyone for one showing theirs more to space then they though and two the carnage him and him alone can do when he's not in a good mood even with the tech they posses. "so Ms. Fall I will ask one more time and this time I'll be generous five hundred million lien upfront, final offer or I walk and possibly find someone that wants you dead and is willing to pay. do we have a deal Cinder.: Felix threaten as he kept his eyes on Cinder as the rest were waiting with trigger fingers for a fight to break out before seeing Cinder's hand go up signaling everyone to put down their weapons as she held out her hand for Felix as he deactivated his sword and placed it on his waist he grabbed her hand and shook it "we have a deal indeed" Cinder said as Felix pulled her close to him and sat her next to him as he filled up the glasses with whisky and grabbed two for him and cinder and Mercury, Emerald, and Neo grabbed the last two, leaving Felix to taking off his helmet and raising his shot glass as the others followed "Too business and success" Felix said as they all downed the alcohol and continued more for a few hours.

"so that's it we already got our paycheck payed in full with a little 'convincing' to Cinder" Felix said as Elly spoke up "you fucked her didn't you" She said with a hint of venom in her voice "sadly no she did have the body but nope a little old fashion drinking game and me and her went on longer then we honestly should have" Felix said as he checked the Holo map "so now we have our orders, Sam care to lead us off" Felix asked as Locus laid out the three objectives on the holo table "right first is we need to Temporary move into the academy and lay low that's were team A will come in. Elly and Celia will do reconnaissance and get every inch of the campus recorded and laid out Team B will be our new comer she will infiltrate and find our man and extract him" Locus said pulling a file on the "new comer' aka Neo as her full body was displayed so everyone could identify her "and that leaves the last team, Team C will consist of me and Felix. we will be participating in the tournament and taking out any other teams in doubles round and getting one of us to the last round and that's were we let everything connect from their as team A and B will be placing explosives and hijacking their respective objectives after that the Grimm will be unleashed into the school and we clean up house from there" Locus said as he finished up the briefing "good job buddy gold star" Felix said as he got in front of the table "okay that's it everyone know your rolls stay focused and lets come home bloody and rich" Felix said as the rest of his group raised their guns in the air "okay everyone lets get moving this is not a drill get your shit and get the hell out of my shop we are leaving" Felix said as he activated the mission as everyone got their things prepped including armor weapons and uniforms and all soon got into a custom scout warthog and drove out of the outpost as Felix activated its defenses as the outpost soon become invisible leaving to be seen or any history of.
