//A:N// Hey guys sorry for the not so frequent updates but I got a little present for you guys that read my stories. that being I got myself a new laptop as a Christmas present and I'm putting it to full use for my work (Wattpad) my actual work and gaming so now I wont have to worry at all about problems and Happy 2020 everyone here's to a good new year (even though were at war at this point and shits already getting bad) but other than that lets make this year a good one while we can anyway enjoy this chapter

the mornings of Beacon were still hyped as the Vytal Tournament nears it final days as the singles rounds are scheduled for today as Team RWBY and NPR decide to meet in the sparing room to get ready for today as both Yang and Nora were doing a friendly spar in preparation for the fight today as Nora came flying hard at Yang with her hammer ready to strike down as Yang rocketed herself backwards by firing her gauntlets to the ground as the hammer struck down were she stood prior, in retaliation she launched herself at Nora and slamming her heel down at her shoulder stunning Nora momentarily before she started spinning her hammer and transforming it back into its grenade launcher and started firing at Yang as she quickly took cover behind a wall as it was constantly being bombarded with explosive shells from Nora "Damn it, I'm pinned behind this wall and she's not letting up. think damn it think, what would Jaune do?" Yang thought to herself as she suddenly got an idea as out of her pouch a gun fell out, the one she wanted Jaune to use on her before she remembered the fight between them and the tactics he used against her and in that moment she knew what to do as the firing came to a halt "Common Yang your not gonna win if you keep that up you gotta have backups and your current weapons wont do much for you in this if you want to win the tournament" Nora yelled as she reloaded her Grenade Launcher before shooting at the area Yang was taking cover. From the sidelines the rest of both RWBY and NPR watched the ongoing onslaught "you think she might be over doing it?" Ruby asked as Pyrrha shook her head before letting out a soft laugh "She does tend to get a little carried away huh maybe we all should be glad she's on our side and everyone else nodded before ruby leaned forward and squinting here eyes at yang "something the matter Ruby?" Blake asked as Ruby shook her head in response "hm? nope just Yang she's planning something" Ruby said as this getting a surprised reaction from most of the group "what do you mean how can you tell" Weiss asked as she looked at were Yang was as her cover was being continuously with grenade 40MM shells "At this point Yang would have gone in with an attack or would have panicked but look at her, her eyes says something else, she's waiting" She reassured her partnered, but before she could ask back on what she meant Nora 'Nade launcher clicked signaling it was out of ammo as Yang soon sprinted out of cover towards Nora, as she saw this she immediately Switched her launcher back to her hammer and readied herself for the attack what she wasn't prepared for was Yang gauntlets being thrown in the air still activated as the fired of buckshot rounds as quickly Nora moved back from the pellets before looking back at yang who was right up at Nora with her fist clenched and reared back as it was slammed into her stomach sending her back and loosing grip of her weapon. As soon as she regained her footing she quickly went to her hammer before a gunshot rang out as a bullet hole was left near her hammer as Nora looked back at Yang who held a pistol in her hands as she aimed it at Nora with Bright Red eyes "Your move ACDC" Yang said as Nora jump-rolled to her weapon before loading a shell and firing it at yang making a exposition but soon through the dust and smoke of the explosion Yang rushed through and  Planted her Feet to Nora's torso making her stumble the proceeding to pistol whip Nora on her side followed by an elbow to her face making Nora's Aura Flicker before she was grabbed by yang and had the barrel of the gun Placed at Nora's Side and firing off a shot breaking her Aura as she was kicked to the Ground before having a Foot Placed on her stomach as yang Chambered another round "I always have a backup plan" Yang said as the buzzer was soon sounded ending the match as the lights came on as the board came up with Yang as Victor Via Aura Depletion as Yang put away the gun and offered a Hand to Nora who soon shot up like a Rocket "WOW! were did you pull that from that was awesome!" Nora Yelled as The rest of NPR and RWBY came up to help them both out "I thought you only fought with your fists, were did you pull that hat trick from" Pyrrha asked completely impressed with Yang's fighting moves "uh well um from a old friend I guess you can say" Yang said as she was soon handed her gauntlets from Ren "Very impressive you've managed to find a way to counter act an opponents moves by trying a new scenario" Ren said with a simple smile as Yang was mentally Thanking Jaune with that stunt. as everyone was packing up for now team RWBY stayed behind to talk for a little as Yang was discussing with Weiss Ruby pulled Blake aside "everything okay Ruby" Blake asked as Ruby looked at her sister then back to her "you saw that right, what yang did?" Ruby asked as Blake too looked at Yang then back to her partner "I did... you don't think that" Blake couldn't finish her statement as she remembered that day in the forest what Felix Did to them his remarks his way of fighting. his tactics on the battlefield to read his opponents "I hope your both right and wrong Blake" Blake's memories keep coming back to her as a friend she knew turned into someone of pure hatred, just like Adam became. in her panic attack of her memories a hand was placed on her shoulder as she looked to see Weiss next to her "hey you okay you sounded like you just remembered something" Blake calmed down as she relaxed her breathing and held a smile to Weiss "I'm fine just getting those bad memories again" She tried to reassure Weiss who seemed not to pry on the subject cause she too remembers that painful day like it just happened yesterday "hey, its gonna be okay Blake we'll get through this" Yang said as she hugged her "we all will be. One step at a time. as a family" soon the rest of the team came in for a hug to calm each other "yup no madder what comes at us, we're ready. and if not we got each others backs" Ruby said as she wiped a small tear from her eye "Will all competing Vytal tournament fighters report to Amity Coliseum" The announcer said through the intercoms as team RWBY made their way to Amity "One step at a time" Yang said to herself
