Stay With Me: Part 23

Perries POV

‘umm hi.’ I smiled towards Zayn and (y/n).

‘What are you doing here?’ Zayn asked. He seemed in pain, an emotional pain, so I knew I should just explain and leave.

‘Oh I just came to drop of these keys which by the way I only took because I was drunk and had no idea what was going on. I promise.’ I said making sure that they believed me.

‘Ok, but why didn’t you knock?’ (y/n) asked me.

‘Oh right. I didn’t see either of your cars downstairs so I thought instead of leaving them outside for thief’s to get, I thought I would open up your apartment and leave.’ I then realised what I did the last time I was here and knew I would have to defend myself. ‘Also I have no idea why I wrote that note. I swear to you!’

‘Perrie. It’s fine. I believe you and Zayn. I just really want this whole situation to blow over and be in the past, and stay there. For good.’

‘I understand that and I am also very grateful. So thank you. I’m just going to leave you to it. Bye!’ I thanked them and handed them the keys.

Your POV

Perrie left and Mel started crying a few minutes later. I was glad Zayn, Perrie and I had figured everything out now. It feels like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

I went to mine and Zayns room to calm Mel down and feed her. I then went back out to the living room to find Zayn talking to Niall on the phone saying all sorts of things about how happy he was to have me back and that Perrie is out of the picture. I listened to the whole conversation, well Zayns side of it anyway. Once Zayn had put his phone down he walked towards the kitchen when I suddenly jumped on him and hugged him as tight as I could with my legs around his waist.

‘I love you Zayn! I promise you that I didn’t really mean it when I said I hate you, because I don’t hate you. I was just mad about the whole situation.’

‘I know you didn’t! Haha I’m not stupid!’ he said.

‘I know. I love you so much! We are never gunna fight again and if we do and it’s my fault... slap me! Haha Just please promise that we will never fight ever again!’

‘I promise... that’s a weird request!’ he said chuckling.

I giggled and leaned down to kiss him as he reached his head up a bit because I was still wrapped around him. I got down and picked Mel up gently and took her to Zayn and placed her in his arms.

‘My two favourite people in the entire world... and they’re mine’ I giggled and then winked at Zayn.

‘Don’t you think that’s a bit possessive?’ he chuckled.

‘Yes. It is. But I don’t care. You and Mel are mine and you always will be, I will make sure of it.’

Me and Zayn kissed again and Mel giggled her cute little baby giggle. We both stopped and smiled down at our beautiful creation. We all sat and watched films until 2AM when he did it.

‘(y/n)?... I love you, and I’ve come to the conclusion that I want to spend the rest of my life with you and I want nothing more than to be known as the ‘Malik’ family instead of the ‘Malik/ (y/l/n)’ family...’ he paused and took my hand.

‘(y/n), will you make me the happiest man in the world by agreeing to marry me?...’

I was shocked. I didn’t expect this at all!

‘OF COURSE I WILL!!!’ I screamed as Liam, Harry, Niall and Louis poured into the room collapsing onto Zayn and I.  Luckily, I had put Mel to bed otherwise right now she would be squished into the sofa. The boys spread out and gave me and Zayn a bit of room so that he could give me the most beautiful ring I have ever seen! It was a silver ring with diamonds around it, with a much bigger heart shaped diamond on top. He collected me in his arms and gave me the biggest and most passionate kiss I had ever experienced in my life. It was like I was having an out-of-body experience and I felt like I was on cloud nine. I felt him smile into the kiss which made me smile too. We stopped kissing and just hugged and the boys decided to turn it into a massive group hug and joined in. I placed my head on Zayns chest and said to him,

‘(y/n) Malik... that sounds good to me!’

He wrapped his arms around me again and kissed me. I have never been so happy in my entire life!
