I could see the hurt in Finn's eyes, I didn't justify it because Raven was moving on. Quickly I must admit but still she was doing no worse than Finn. In fact Finn had moved on a lot further in the past half hour.

"Hey! What the hell? I didn't know you and Finn we're hooking up!" Bellamy shouted. Finn glanced back at me.

"Bel, no need to broadcast it." He snapped.

"Finn you dog! So, how was she?" Bellamy chuckled, making me cringe.

"Why are you still here?" I interrupted.

"Moving on I see?" Raven muttered, I scoffed involuntarily. "Got something to say Princess?" I recoiled but Finn fought my corner.

"You too Raven, moving on all over Bellamy I see..." the hurt had vanished from his eyes now and he seemed to exude confidence. Raven's eyes rolled to the floor.

"C'mon Ray, let's head back to my tee-pee." Bellamy whispered. He went to wrap her hand round his but she pulled away and they turned to leave.

"Keep it PG guys!" Finn shouted behind them, I heard Raven curse loudly from a distance.

"Finn she..." I stuttered, "She looked really hurt."

"Princess don't worry, as soon as she's broken Bellamy's heart I'm sure she'll feel much better. It's what she does, that's why I liked her. I wanted to see if she'd break my heart. She's like fire, pretty and dangerous." He smiled slightly at the last sentence, like he'd  been saying it for a while and I couldn't help but feel a bit disheartened. "You don't understand babe, that's why I ended it. A relationship isn't heated moments and slow recoveries, it's the steady warm glow." I still kept my gaze to the ground. "Was it the 'babe'? I'm sorry, just testing the water..."

"No I like it... babe. It's just, maybe I don't want to be the boring glow. I want to be the licks of the flame, the exciting stuff. Is that pathetic?" I mumbled the last few words.

"Princess," he said, tilting my chin up to face him, "you're no boring glow, you're my toasty fire in a cold winter. The cosy wooly jumper that I seek the comfort of. The warm blood that my heart beats, you're the steady pulse of blood in my veins. You're my," he paused, "everything."
