Katherine's PoV It's been about a week since the car crash, Chase has been fine, I think he's completely back to himself and so am I. I know the baby is fine as well, I can feel it. On the subject of the baby, me and chase have been stuck on baby names. I have been thinking of so many names and so has he yet be can't seem to pick one that sounds right, I think when we see her we will know.
Today I have to go into college and get some test results, if I pass I won't have to go back in and I can sign up for university. I'm slightly scared about my education from now on, I'll have the baby and I'll have to pause my whole career. What if I pause and I never press play again? I'll just be another stay at home mum always relying on a man to take care of her, that's not what I want and I won't bring a baby up like that. Now that I think of it I don't actually know what chase does for a job, he always had money but he's never actually gone to work. I don't even know if he went to school? "Katherine! Breakfast!" Chase shouted me from the kitchen. I walked out in my joggers looking like I hadn't seen the outside of my bedroom for a year. We were back home now but for space Natasha was staying at James house, bless her little heart. "Hmm that smells amazing." I sat down on the couch as he brought over a tray of savoury mouth watering food. "Chase can I ask you something?" "Sure" he sat down next to me with a cup of coffee. "We can't live here forever, soon the baby will be here and there's hardly enough room for three of us!" I said, my mouth full of bacon. "I know that, we will move out at soon as we can." "Well how can we when I'm in college and you don't have a job?" "I can get a job, a well payed one. I just never needed too" he chuckled. "Wait how?" "Katherine, I have a law degree!" I gasped. "What!" "Yeah, I guess I never told you." "Wow, we're having a baby together and I don't even know you." I stood up and put my plate in the kitchen sink. "Oh shut up, look today I'll try find a house for us and I'll get s job" he came over and planted a kiss on my forehead. "Thank you. Could you give me a lift down to the college?" "Of course."
He dropped be off at the college and I rushed in to my class. Everyone was sat down and ready as I waddled in. I realised that none of them had seen me since my bump had grown, now I had a proper 'mummy' bump. It showed when everyone's eyes widened and jaws dropped. "Okay class lets get seated." The professor came in with our test papers. I quickly sat down on one of the free chairs before I could be shouted at. "I'm glad to say 15 of you have passed! But there is unfortunately the other 15 of you with a fail." He said as he handed out the papers, I saw at least 10 faces light up and another 14 nearly burst out crying. My anxiousness grew as he came closer to me with only 5 more papers left. "Okay Katherine.." He looked through the stack to find my paper. "Here you go!" I grabbed the paper and took a deep breathe before looking at me mark. 'Pass' "Omg!!!!" I screamed. "Well done! But let's keep the cheering to a minimum." He chuckled. The rest of the lesson went smoothly, all I did was go through my paper and see what I got right and wrong where as others had to re do the whole exam. Once the lesson ended it was about 3pm and Chase was pulled up outside the campus. I saw girls swooning at the sight of him which made me blush, I really was a lucky girl. Sometimes I wondered if he would be with me if I wasn't pregnant, complete strangers that had a one night stand with no consequences. "How did it go?" He asked. "I passed!" "I knew you would!" He wrapped his arms around me. "Well, I have some news too!" I clicked my seatbelt on before he started driving. "Your looking at the new partner for Greenwood law practice!" He grinned. "Omg chase! Well done!" "And to celebrate I'm taking you somewhere.." He turned a corner into a new part of town, there was new buildings and new houses. A big fence around the school and about five parks minutes away from one another. "Wow it's lovely here!" I awed at the sight. "I'm glad you think so" Chase pulled up outside a large cream house with a massive back-garden. "What would you think about living right here?" He looked at me. "Seriously?!" I gasped. "Yes! Just a little bit of saving and we can move right in! Also it's right near an amazing school and university!" I wrapped my arms around him and smacked my lips onto his. "I love you so Much! Your amazing!" "Well let me actually get the money to pay the rent first!" He laughed. "I know but this is perfect, it's so safe and the neighbourhood is beautiful." I nearly started crying I was so happy. "Let's get home then before the traffic starts" chase began to drive. I soaked up every minute we were in the neighbourhood, imagining my baby walking to school and playing on the streets. It would be prefect!
When we got home chase hopped in the shower and I did some research on the house prices and my god were they expensive. How did he think we could afford this? I didn't want us to move in and not be able to afford to live because our rent is ridiculously high! I decided to pull myself away from the phone and all the houses before I drove myself mad and climbed into bed. I loved my bed, yes it was old and knackered but it was so soft and comfy. The duvet was fluffy and warm when you slept and the pillows were puffy and you could drowned in them if you tried hard enough. The second my head hit the pillow I was out cold, knocked out and nothing would wake me up from such utter bliss.
