Katherine's PoV I didn't want to leave but I had no choice, the hospital had told me to pack my things because there was no longer any need for me to stay. I could visit Autumn but because she had feeding tube she didn't need me right now. That did upset me but I knew she would be fine and I could see her whenever I wanted. It was about 7am and I was up early, I had gotten a shower and dried my hair so I was ready to leave. I was packing my bag which didn't take long because I didn't really bring anything, I just had one of Autumns baby grows that hadn't been used yet. I held it tightly next to my chest and sighed. "Hey beautiful" chase walked into my room and swung his arms around me, holding me tight. "Hey" I sighed. "Ready to go?" He asked. I nodded, all I was wearing was some jogging pants and a baggy shirt since that's all that was in my bag. Once I stepped outside the cold air hit me and send a shiver through my body. Chase noticed I was cold and pulled off his red hoodie. "Here" he laughed, handing me the hoodie. Sat in his car he placed his hand on my thigh as we drove to our new home. "Actually, before we go home can we stop at a shop, Autumn needs some new clothes." I smiled. He nodded and drove us to a supermarket.
I rushed over to the baby section, I had been waiting forever to buy baby clothes and I loved it. They were all so tiny and cute. I grabbed about 20 baby grows, 3 dummy's, some mittens, some socks, a bag of nappies and some little hats. Chase walked around the corner with a pack of 10 bottles and a steriliser to see me with a trolley full with clothes. "Oh my god" he burst out into laughter. "Shut up" I laughed. We put everything on the till and it came to a grand total of £40. "What the fuck?" Chase said as he looked at the screen. "Chase!" I laughed He pulled out £20 and I also pulled out £20 to pay for the overly priced clothes. We drove up to the new house, it was about 3pm now and I was starving. I walked into the house and the living room only had the tv and a sofa in it, but it looked amazing, I just imagined having everything being perfect and Autumn running around in this perfect house. "I love it" I grinned and turned around to wrap my arms around chase. "That's not it, come over here." He led me to a bedroom. He opened the door and I was in shock. He had painted one of the walls pink and the rest white, the crib was up with some bedding in, and there was a stack of wrapped presents in the corner. "What are they?" I asked. "Baby shower presents, I know you wanted a gender reveal kind of thing but we couldn't so everyone bought some presents!" He smiled. "Oh my god! Can we open them?" He nodded, he carried the bigger presents into the living room and I carried the rest. The first present was huge, 'from Natasha and James' when I opened it I was in love, it was a baby bouncer that sang lullabies. "I love it" i looked at chase who was enjoying watching me open the presents like a child. The rest were regular sized, most of them were clothes and the other ones were for me. My mother had bought me some clothes that were more nice fitting for me and not maternity clothes. It made me happy but I still had baby weight to loose.
"I'm so glad we have friends and family like this" I kissed chase before throwing away the wrapping paper. "Are you hungry?" He asked. "Starving" I laughed. "I'll order pizza?" I nodded and went into the bathroom, it was bigger than the one in our flat before. This had a bathtub with a shower and chase had bought a baby bath that was placed inside it. When I went back into the living room the pizza had arrived and Chase was already chomping down on it. "Thanks for waiting" I said sarcastically. "Sorry" He murmured with his mouth full. I laughed and grabbed a slice of pizza, I was glad I wasn't worrying about Autumn, I knew she was safe and healthy at hospital and I was going to see her tomorrow anyways. After we had finished eating Chase cleaned up and I went to get changed into some pyjamas. He had brought my bed from the apartment down to our new home but bought new bed sheets. "Why the new sheets?" I asked. "Because yours were girly, at least these are just grey" he rolled his eyes. I giggled and curled up under the covers, Chase joined me and wrapped his arm around me. "I love you" he whispered in my ear. "I love you too" He kissed my head and snuggled up to me. "I'm so happy with where our lives are at." I said. He made a noise in approval. " I know we did everything backwards and early but I wouldn't have it any other way." I smiled. " me neither, have you chosen a university yet?" He asked. I shook my head. "I've just been busy with the baby, I'll sigh up for some tomorrow." He kissed my head one last time as I reached for the bedside lamp and switched it off.
