chapter 15

Beca's pov.

Aubrey drove us back to the appartment and when we got there i decided to text my dad to tell him what happend. I pull my phone out with my right hand and slowly type a text message to him.

To warren mitchell, 16.58: hey dad. I kind of broke my ring finger on my left hand and i need to wear a cast. I just decided to give you a heads up and tell you what was going on. Aubrey and chloe said that i should stay with them until my hand is better and they said that they are going to help me with this stuff. Can you say hey to sheilla and hailee from me please? Talk to you later dad. Love you!

I put my phone on the coffee table and smile at the girls who are also on the couch next to me.

"So, is there anything that you want to do?" chloe asks me.

Hmm. What should we do? I don't really feel like watching a movie. Ohw, i know what we could do! I grab my phone and open up the note app and write down.

Can we listen to music and talk? I don't really feel like watching a movie.

The girls read it and then nod.

"Yeah, i'm fine with that. Chloe has some of your mixes on her phone. We could listen to those." aubrey says.

Chloe smiles and unlocks her phone.

"Yeah, let's do that!" chloe says.

My phone goes off just as chloe puts on my mix of let it snow and it's cold outside. I look at my phone and see that my dad texted me back.

From warren mitchel, 17.03: what happend!? Are you okay? Do you need anything? You can always ask me when you need something. And i'll say hey to them when they get back home. They decided to go to the park.

"This mix is good!" chloe says.

I look up and look at her with a smile.

"Yeah, i agree with you chloe. This mix is awesome. Do you have anymore christmas mixes?" aubrey asks me.

I shake my head no. I don't have anymore christmas mixes. I do have a christmas cover wich i made with my cousins. That was before i went mute.

"Ohw, well that's okay. You have other awesome mixes that we can listen to. Wait, let me look for one." chloe says.

While she's looking for a mix i decide to text my dad back.

To warren mitchel, 17.05: I'll explain it later dad. And no i don't need anything but i'll tell you when i do. I'll see you later dad. I'm hanging out with aubrey and chloe right now. Talk to you later!

I send him the text and put my phone away. It goes off but i don't bother to look at it. I know that it is my dad.

"Did you find that mix?" aubrey asks chloe.

"Yeah i just did!" chloe says.

She plays the mix and i shake my head with a smile. It's my mix of bulletproof and titanium. Of course she would play that mix.

"Chloe, are you serious?" aubrey asks her, trying to not smile.

"What? It's a good mix." chloe says with a fake innocent smile while she shrugs.

"You better not go to your room in a few minutes to take care of yourself after you play this song." aubrey says while she raises her eyebrow with a small smile painted on her face.

Chloe pouts.

"Alright, you win. I'll put on a different mix." chloe says with a sigh.

I shake my head with a huge smile on my face while chloe changes the mix.

A couple of weeks passed since that day and i haven't heard anything from bumper or his friends. It felt nice but also a bit weird. I was used to the bullying and now that it's gone, it feels like the calm before the storm. I just feel like they are up to something. I told aubrey and chloe about it and they told me that i shouldn't worry about that and that they would protect me if he ever tried to do something. My heart still skips a beat when i think of that moment. Hearing how much they cared for me made me fall in love with them even more. Speaking about that. I'm planning on telling them both how i feel. I think that they deserve to know how much i like the both of them. How much i love the both of them. We are meeting at the café close to campus and i'm waiting until they arrive. I was a bit early so it might take a while. I hope that they will react well when i tell them...
