chapter 4

Beca's pov.

We have been hanging out for more then an hour now. I already used two pages off my notebook. We were asking eachother questions all the time. I got to know what their favorite colour is, favorite song and so on! They are pretty amazing! I hope that they stay and won't leave me.

"Are you okay?" aubrey asks me.

I look at her and nod.

"Don't lie to us. I can see that something is bothering you. What is it?" chloe asks.

I look at her for a moment before i grab my notebook.

Are you guys going to leave me?

I write. They read it and look at me with shocked expressions.

"What are you talking about, beca? Why do you ask that?" aubrey asks me.

I grab the notebook again.

All my friends left me when they found out that i was mute. And all the people that tried to be my friend gave up because it was too hard for them to comunicate with me. I haven't had a real friend in the past year and a half. They always go away after a week. If i'm lucky then it would be two weeks. It's just hard to trust someone after that. I don't want you guys to leave. I want to have friends again.

I write. A tear escapes my eye while they are reading it. Chloe quickly wipes the tear away and hugs me. Aubrey leans over the table to grab my hand.

"People in high school are stupid. This is college. We won't give up on you. I enjoy being around you, becs." chloe says.

I smile a little and hold her closer before letting her go.

"If i make a friend then it is for life. Unless if they do something that would really offend me. But i have a feeling that you won't do that." aubrey says with a smile before she lets my hand go.

"Now, we should probably head out. We have class tomorrow and i still have homework." aubrey says.

We stand up and gather our stuff before walking out off the shop.

"I bet that you would do awesome in that radio station tomorrow." chloe suddenly says.

I told them about me joining it. I smile at her in thanks. Aubrey smiles and opens her mouth to say something when we are suddenly interupted.

"Look who we have here! It's the mute girl."

i look up and see bumper looking at me with his friends.

"What's the matter? Do you have something to say?" bumper says while laughing.

I look down and shake my head. Please just piss off!

"Chloe, tell me that you weren't hanging out with her? She's mute!" one off his friends say.

I look up at chloe and see her glaring at bumpers friend.

"Don't you have to be in some shower, fucking a random girl, tom?" chloe asks him.

My eyes widen and the boy pouts.

"Don't tell me that you are still mad about that? It was one time!" tom says.

Chloe raises her eyebrow.

"It was one time in my shower indeed. I've caught you multipel times in the shower tom. You should try to find a new fuck place maybe?" chloe says.

Tom shrugs and smiles.

"Naah, now you know where to go if you ever want a threesome. That would be so hot tho! I can already see how you are making out with a girl, naked." tom says with a far away look.

Chloe shakes her head and grabs my arm before walking away while aubrey follows us.

"Do you want to go back to our appartment?" chloe asks with a tiny smile.

I nod.

Aubrey opens the door and we all walk in. Their appartment is really pretty. Aubrey and chloe walk towards the couch and i follow them.

"Sit down with us." aubrey says.

I sit down in the middle and smile at them.

"Is that the first time that bumper botherd you?" aubrey asks while chloe gives me a notebook and pen.

I open it and write.

No, but it doesn't matter. He's just a bully. I was expecting it when i got here on the first day. He botherd me on class but one off my classmates helped me. She told him to shut up and he did. It's not like words can hurt me, so it's fine.

I write. The both off them read it and i can feel them getting angry.

"He isn't going to get away with this! If i catch him doing that one more time then i will kick his balls so hard that they will be stuck in his thought!" aubrey says.

Chloe takes a deep breath and then looks at me.

"Words can hurt you, beca. And i saw that he hurt you with what he said. Sometimes words can even hurt more then a punch." chloe says.

Well, she isn't wrong. And they really did hurt me. But it doesn't matter. He's gone now. I don't have to worry about that. Aubrey sighs and smiles at me.

"How about watching a movie?" she asks me.

I grimace a bit.

"What? You don't like movies?" chloe askes me with a smile on her face.

I slowly shake my head.

"Like, not even one? How can you not like even one movie!?" aubrey says with a laugh.

I smirk and grab the notebook.

I saw a porn movie in high school. I liked that one!

I write down. They read it and chloe laughs while aubrey just shakes her head with a smile.

"You dirty little bird! Of course you would like that." chloe says.

I shrug and smile at her. This is honestly one off the best days in my life. I can't beleive that i finaly have real friends!
