chapter 9

beca's pov.

I step out of the car and smile when my dad takes my bag.

"I'll help you with that. you can go and say hello to hailee and sheilla." my dad says.

I nod with a smile and we step inside. My dad walks upstairs while i go to the kitchen. Sheilla loves to bake. she basicly lives in the kitchen. I knock on the kitchen table and sheilla turns around with a smile.

"Beca, you're here!" She says.

I smile and give her a hug.

"How is college? Warren said that you made some friends." Sheilla says.

I sit down in a kitchen chair and take my notebook that is on the table.

it's fine. I like the classes and i made some friends. they are really nice and a bit overprotective off me. not that i mind it.

Sheilla reads it and laughs a bit.

"I'm glad that you made friends. It sounds like they care about you." Sheilla says with a kind smile.

I nod. I turn around when i hear the front door open.

"Mom, Warren i'm home!" hailee yells.

I stand up with a smile and run to hailee. I tackle her in a hug and we both fall to the ground.

"Becs, you're here!" hailee says with a laugh.

I stand up and help hailee up aswell.

"I'm so glad that you're here! i missed you so much. let's go to my room!" hailee says.

I nod and run after her. We sit down on her bed and she gives me some paper and a pencil.

"I'm so glad that you are here. I missed you." hailee says again.

I smile a bit.

i missed you to, sis.

She reads it and then smiles.

"So, i heard that you made some friends. You even had a little sleepover with them last night." Hailee says.

I blush a bit and nod.

"Soooooo, you have a crush on one off them yet?" Hailee asks me.

My whole face turns red and i quickly grab the pencil and paper.

It's way too early to have a crush on them just yet!

Hailee raises her eyebrow when she's done reading it.

"Love doesn't have time or an age on it. It's never too early to have a crush on someone. And your face tells me that you have a chrush on one off them. Maybe even both." Hailee says with a shrug.

My eyes widen a bit and i grab the paper from hailee.

It isn't possible to have a crush on two people!

Hailee reads it and nods.

"It totaly is possible. The brother off my friend is in a relationship with another boy and a girl. They all love eachother. Is that something that you want with them?" Hailee asks me.

I'm lucky enough that they even want to be my friends. no way that one off them would be interrested in me, let alone two.

Hailee looks at me and frowns.

"Don't think like that, becs. You are amazing! You are a very talented girl who will reach a lot in her life. Why would you even think that?" Hailee asks me.

I look down and shrug. People in high school told me enough times how no one could ever love me. Why would they? I'm a mute lesbian. I don't blame them for not wanting me.

"Look at me, becs." Hailee says.

I look up and she smiles.

"Come up for yourself. You are the strongest person I know. Don't let the bully's get to your head. You will only give them what they want then." Hailee says.

I smile a bit and nod. She's right. I allowed them to push me around in high school but i won't allow it anymore. I'll show them what i'm made off! The next time that that Bumper guy even comes near me then I'll kick his ass so hard that he won't be capable to sit on it for weeks!

"Alright becs. Tell me a bit about your two chrushes." Hailee says.

I blush again and shake my head.

I'm not crushing on them! They are just my friends!

Hailee laughs a bit.

"Keep on lying to yourself. you ain't fooling anyone. Now tell me about them." Hailee says.

They are amazing. Their names are chloe and aubrey. Aubrey has beautifull blond hair and pearly white teeth. It's like she came out off a fairy tale. Chloe has red hair that looks like fire. It's so soft. She has these beautifull blue eyes in wich i can just drown. And she is always positive about everything. Aubrey is a bit more serious but that's what i like about her.

Hailee reads it and then looks up with a smile.

"They sound amazing. Any chance that i can meet them?" hailee asks.

Hailee gives me back the paper and i write down.

I'll have to ask them when they can. I'll ask them when i'll see them again.

Hailee smiles and nods.

"Sounds good. Do you want to watch a movie with me?" hailee asks.

I raise my eyebrow and shake my head.

"Ohw come on, becs! I know that you hate movies but i want to watch a movie with you!" hailee says.

She widens her eyes a bit and then pouts.

"Pretty please." she says.

I roll my eyes and then nod at her. Hailee squeels and runs downstairs towards the living room. I take the pencil and paper and follow her downstairs.
