"Dally, why are we here again?" Ponyboy asked me, as we made it to the cashier.

"I wanted to spend some time with you, man." I smiled as I kept looking around for her long brown hair.

"Really? Because last time you saw me, you wanted to kill me." He chuckled.

"Like the little broad said, I was drunk, and had a hangover. Besides, why can't I invite my only happiness' best friend out?" I glanced at Pony, I was referring to Johnny.

He became quiet.

"That'll be two dollars and forty-seven cents." A boy, possibly the same age as Darry said with no expression of wanting to be here said.

I handed him a five dollar bill.

"I knew that would finally shut your mouth." I faked a smirk, now having my eyes glued on some strangers' heads.

"Dally." He let out steam.

"Yeah?" I said as I took back my change.

"Why did you care about Johnny so much?" He asked, as he began pointing to the same chairs where that annoying red head threw her coke at me.

"He deserved to have someone care for him, and since his parents weren't going to; I took their place." I slumped myself onto the seat.

"But you cared for him more than us, it was like he was the only thing you cared about." He nervously said as he chewed on a piece of his chocolate bar.

"He was, and possibly always will. Ponyboy if you were in my state, and you were given the chance to protect him you would, you just don't get it. Pony, you have people who care for you, your brothers, Johnny and I, we only had each other." I stopped looking around for just a few seconds.

"So, him leaving was like a sign that you didn't have anything else to live for?" He scoffed me.

"Watch it, and yes, it was." I fixed my posture by putting my feet on the back of the chair in front of me, luckily no 'scary' broad was sitting there.

"I know Elvis is a good singer, just not the best looking, I guess."

"I recognize that voice?" Ponyboy said as he started to turn around.

I gripped on to his forearm and put him back in his place.

"You move and I'll break every bone in your body." I hissed as I patted his shoulder.

"Oh, look who it is."

I looked next to me, it was the Cherry girl.

"Hey, broad." I smirked.

"Hi Cherry." Ponyboy placed his two-senses into the conversation.

"Ponyboy, my favorite boy." She smiled; I guess she had actual emotions.

"What are doing here?" Ponyboy asked her.

"What exactly do you do when you go to a drive-in?" She laughed.

"There you are, Cher." I heard another voice.

I looked to where it was coming from; her body was squeezed into an even more tighter dress compared to the one from this afternoon. It was a small black dress, that had a cut up to her thigh, she was asking for people's attention.

The temptation to just grab onto her and let her breathe for at least four seconds; was on the edge. That smooth hair that I placed my hand through, was now in a low bun, two strands on the sides. She was way to good looking.

Kiara was a doppelgänger of him.

"Who are you talking to?" She said as we connected eyes.

Her eyes were sparkling before she saw me, but now they were dark and steaming; she was seeing red.
