AN: agh I'm sorry I was gone so long! I really don't mean to but I lose track of time a lot. Thank you for all the votes and comments, I really appreciate all the love I'm getting from the story. Hopefully I'll get better at updating more recently. Anyway hope you enjoy this chapter, I tried making it a little longer and edited it a bit (which really help because I wrote this last year) And if you don't get the hints from this chapter, I am a really big fan of Percy Jackson! Just saying. ENJOY GUYS! COMMENT VOTE! And follow me on Instagram: @Theninthdoctorlives LOVE YA!
I had decided to go to Mickey's house and I was planning to tell him I was pregnant. I was walking past restaurants and shops when I stopped at a shop window. In it, had the most gorgeous wedding dress I had ever seen. My thoughts trailed off until they turned into if Mickey was ever going to purpose to me, and if we should get married now that we were having a child. I shook my head and cleared the thought immediately. This was no time to think about just a serious matter.
I walked down the street and hailed a cab. I gave him Mickey's address and sat back in the seat. I stared out the window and gazed at all the shops and buildings and people go by. Then one person in particular, caught my eye. A man running- no, sprinting the same way I was going. Then I recognized the man. It was the Doctor running as fast as his long legs could carry him.
"STOP!" I yelled at the taxi driver. He pulled over and I dashed out of the cab and started waving my arms as if my life depended on it. He noticed me and ran over to the cab.
"R-Rose" he panted, clearly out of breath. "you need to c-come back to the t-tardis."
He moment the words slurred out of his mouth, he collapsed in my arms. I, with the help of the cab driver, managed to haul him into the cab and tell the driver to turn around. I held the Doctor's head on my lap while the rest of his body lay on the other seat. He must had run at least twenty blocks just to catch up with me. No wonder he had collapsed. I put my head to his chest to see if both his hearts were still in beat and functioning normally. When I heard two heart beats I sat back up and stared at his sleeping face.
It was strange to see him like this when all you ever saw of him was a ball of energy bouncing around and talking a million miles an hour about some planet or technology, but I loved seeing him like this for some reason. The sight of him so calm and peaceful made me happy inside and I couldn't help but touch his adorable face while he was passed out on my lap. I played with his hair until he came to. He noticed What I was doing and pushed into my fingers while smiling. He tried to sit up but grabbed his head in pain and laid back down on me then looked up at my face with his big blue eyes.
"Hello, nice to see you again." He said with a smile.
"Hello Doctor." I said trying not to laugh.
He sat up again and rubbed his head. He looked exhausted. Then he started to look around and notice where he was. He asked where we were going and I told him we were heading home just like he said.
"Fantastic." He sighed as he closed his eyes with a smile and laid back down on my lap, only this time, I don't think he was tired.
I giggled and continued playing with his hair until we arrived at the flat. He jumped out and I followed him to the TARDIS. I walked inside and saw Captain Jack working on the control panel. He saw me and ran to give me a hug. He set me down and explained that we had minutes until we were going to be taken back to the planet where he had stolen the beautiful golden chariot. I sat down in my normal spot and prepared myself for the worse. The Doctor was bouncing with energy around the control panel. Hitting this button and pulling that lever. He looked like a kid in a candy shop. Suddenly he yelled for me to come hold something down. I held a small green button down for him as he used his hands, feet, and whatever else he could find to hold down the control panel. Then the TARDIS came to life and it wasn't exactly a smooth trip. I was tossed left and right and hit my arm on something. We landed and both me and the Doctor were on the floor. He laughed his warm, hearty laugh and helped me up. Jack had been flung on a wall and was rubbing his head.
