Chapter 4

It was friday and i was so excited for my date with Legend.
I was now looking for a outfit to wear with Mari.
" i think you need to be getting some dick after this date so the less clothes the better." her nasty self said.
I rolled my eyes at her she is so nasty.
After what felt like 20 outfits i decided to wear my white fitted dress with lace on the side.
I let Mari flat iron my hair and put light makeup on me. After i added some gloss Legend was calling my phone. He said he was outside.
My mom was still at work so i didnt have to worry about the questions she might ask even though i was grown i stayed in her house.
" Alright honey make sure you ride it good tonight for me" Mari said.
" ughh mari go home" i said not wanting to discuss my nonsex life.
Walking to his car he was holding flowers waiting for me on the passenger side.
" thank you Lele" i said laughing
" hell nah don't call me that shit" he said
He opened the door and let me get in and closed the door walking to his side. Once he was in he started the car then looked over at me.
" what boy" i said blushing. He was so fine and he kinda made me feel nervous but i loved how he made me feel.
He leaned over and kissed me. I kissed back shocked at how good his lips tasted.
" i aint no boy ... Im all man over here. Remember that." he said still face to face with me. He started back driving.

We pulled up to Pasta. My favorite place to get alfredo from.
" How did you know?" i asked him kinda happy that i was going to eat good.
" I just took a wild guess" he said laughing..
We were seated and the waitress came
" Hey my name is Rachael and ill be serving you tonight" She said looking Legend in the face
" i would like Shrimp Scampi with extra shrimp. Can i have broccoli on the side. To drink we would like red wine. " he said and paused " and my girl would like " he said again looking over at me.
Rachael look over at me and smirked like she didnt already know i was here with him
" i would like crispy chicken Fritta Alfredo with extra sauce"
" would that be all ? " she asked now putting her attention back on Legend.
" yes" i said trying to get her to get the fuck away from our table.
Legend laughed as she walked away
" whats funny" i said with a slight attitude
" Aye cut that shit" he said
" whatever.." i said looking away from him.
" you know you are beautiful right ?" he said
" mhm thank you". I replied trying not to smile.

Our food came fairly quick because no one was there. I got my food and dug in. I looked up to Legend looking in my eyes.
" so you not scared to eat in front of me huh ? "
" hell no. Why would i be you not anybody special?" i said
" girl you better stop playing wit--"
He was interrupted by his phone ringing.
" What" he answered
" And how the fuck did that happen"
"Im omw" he said getting off the phone.
" My bad but we gone have to wrap this up"
" oh okay well can i go with you" i said not wanting to live him.
" nahh imma take you home"
" but im not ready to leave yet" i said while kissing him
" ight" we pulled into the same house that Josh came to
" Imma go handle this and ill be back" he said. I got out the car and walked up the stairs leading to his house. Once i was inside he pulled off.
I saw Maria and asked her to show me his room. When i got to it it was clean. I turned on the TV and watched Love and Basketball.
" Come on Monica get your man girl" i said while yawning. I rolled over to look at the time on my phone and it was 1:33 a.m.
" wtf i know this has be a joke." i continued watching the movie until i drifted off to sleep.

I woke up and it was 7:45a.m. I walked down the stairs to Maria coming into the house.
" Goodmorning is Legend back yet?"
" No he isnt but would you like breakfast? "
" No thanks" i went upstairs to get my phone and called Mari and told her to come get me.

20 minutes later and she was outside.

" Girl what happened" she said
" i dont even know my damn self"
She pulled off and headed to her house.

We were almost to my house when my phone rung. I looked down and it was Legend.
" Its him." i told Mari
" Answer it to see what happened since you dont know" she said trying to be smart
" Girl no forget him" i said.

She pulled into my drive way and i got out
" you not coming in" i asked her.
" nahh i got somebody to meet later on tonight.
" well good luck. Love you" i closed the door and went inside to take a nap before really starting my day.

I woke up and it almost 2 so i went down stairs to see my mom cooking.
" Hey mama" i kissed her cheek
" Hey baby what you do today?"
" oh nothing at all. What you cooking"
" i was thinking about having spaghetti and fish tonight your brothers coming home. " she said excited to see her baby boy.
" alright fine with me."

I went back upstairs to my room and check my phone to see i had 15 missed calls from Legend and 10 voice mails and 36 text messages.
I really hoped he would understand that i wanted to be left alone. I remembered Mari said something about a date she had tonight and wanted to see if she wanted to go to the mall and look for something to wear and she agreed we went.
I through on some jeans and a plain shirt with tennis shoes
" Hey mom can i use your car for a while"
" yeah but you need to call AAA about your car when you get back. "
" Alright gotchu"

I met Mari inside at Forever21 which is one of her favorite places to shop.
We looked around and didnt find anything in there so we left. We went into Gap to see if we could find a cute top for her and we did.

" i think this is the one" she said titty twerking
" i think so too" i agreed.
She paid for the shirt and we walked out.

" excuse me ma'am"
We both turned around and saw a lightskin dreadhead approaching us. He was fine and all but chocolate was make flavor.

" yes" i said
" im Ej and i think you are beautiful" he said licking his lips.
" well thank you Ej but I'm not looking for anything right now" i said trying to be as nice and straight forward as possible.
" oh okay i understand you two have a nice day " he nodded and walked away.
" byee" Mari said laughing a little.

I reached in my pocket and grabbed my phone that had been hoing off the last couple of seconds.

It was Legend.
To me: So you cant answer the phone but you can be all in another nigga face"
To me: you did the right thing by getting him out your face 😘
To me: i apologize for leaving you in my house by yourself.

Omg this man is crazy. Im glad i didnt give him none.

We left the mall and i wished he luck on her date. I got home to see my brother getting out of the shower and walking into his room.
" Hey tootie" i yelled before he closed the door.
" Hey Nini i missed your fat head butt" he laughed
" shut the hell up " i said mean mugging him.

I kissed him on his cheek which he doesn't like at all because he is growing up.
" goodnight. Mama already sleep? " i asked
" Yeah and Goodnight"

I took a shower and got in bed. I texted Mari to see how it was going and she didnt reply. So i rolled over and went to sleep.
