Is that an alligator?

Annabeth's POV

"Are you kidding me? Are you absolutely kidding me!" I screamed and jumped onto my boyfriends bed "Percy! Their jaws slam shut with 3,700 pounds per square inch, or 16,460 newtons, of bite force!"

"Annabeth, we've fought Kronos, fell into Tartarus, and fought Gaea...you're scared of a baby crocodile" Percy said as he held the little monster in his arms like it was some puppy.

I was about to say something, but the door opened to reveal the face Leo Valdez.

"Leo!" I silently thanked the gods that he showed up, but soon wanted to hit him.

"Is that an alligator?" He asked.

Percy looked over and held the croc up "it's a crocodile! I named her Steve"

"You named her Steve?" He asked and Percy nodded "why Steve?"

"Cause I wanted to. She doesn't look like a Robert now does she" he said slightly sarcastically. Honestly at this point I can't tell if they're being sarcastic or honest.

"You're right. She doesn't look like a Robert. Now I see why you named her Steve!" Leo said and went over patting 'Steve's head'.

"Percy if you named her Steve what are you gonna name our children" I groaned, getting off his bed I sat on the fountains edge.

It was a silent that felt nice after my brain cells heard all the nonsense coming from the boys' mouths "Gee Annabeth I didn't get that far. When are we having kids?"

"Never mind Perce. Just promise that you won't name our kids after the alligator"

"Steve is a Crocodile! She's tired of being mis-crocodilian!" He hollered cradling Steve closer to his chest. 

"Whatever Percy. I'm sleeping in my cabin until Steve is given back to her momma" I sighed standing up from the fountain

"I am her momma. I'm momma Percy"

Leo looked between us and then to me for a last time "Annabeth..what did you do to him! He's a genius"

"I know both of you are very smart. Hell Leo you found Calypso, brought her back, and found camp again. Percy you're very smart too. You killed the Minotaur when you were 12, you saved me and held the world up when you were 14, and saved us and the gods at 16 with no earthly idea what you were doing. Just sometimes you...you out sarcasm me" I said to them and left the cabin.

"I like your Alligator" I heard Leo say.

"Steve is a crocodile!"
