Annabeth's POV

We had finally made it back home together. Four months ago we were sent on a quest to put Atlas back in his place. Unfortunately, It didn't go as planned, and Percy ended up barely alive in New Rome's hospital.

When we arrived back in Manhattan, Percy and I went through his window to get to his bedroom to rest before we went back to camp. Estelle laid in his bed, curled up, and wearing Percy's sophomore year hoodie. Percy glanced to me and smiled before walking to his bed. Estelle perked up and gasped.

"Percy!" she screeched before launching herself into Percy's arms

I heard the not so silent footsteps that had to belong to Sally and Paul. The door opened and light flooded the room. Sally dropped the glass of water that was in her hand and covered her mouth in utter most shock.

"Annabeth!" Estelle squealed and hugged me. I picked her up and she held on tightly. I smiled weakly at the shocked couple in the doorway.

"hey mom" Percy said. His voice hardly there and his eyes a dull green. Sally stepped over the puddle of water and the plastic cup to hug her son. She clung onto Percy and he began crying as they both dropped to their knees.

Sally and Percy looked over to me and opened their arms to let me into the hug. I placed Estelle down and joined Percy and Sally in the hug. Sally pretty much had the death grip on the two of us as she cried.

"I thought I lost you two..I tried iris messaging you, but I saw the titan"she whimpered and looked at us "I saw Percy slung into a mountain and Annabeth-" she looked at my eyes. Her Blue eyes shone with sadness "I saw you bleeding on the ground. I thought I lost two people I love"

Percy made a heart wrenching sound before hugging us again "Mom..."

"Mrs.Blofis, We're fine now. We would've called sooner, but we-we were busy" I said quietly. She nodded and kissed both of our foreheads.

"Percy, my beautiful boy, please for the love of the gods be safer..I thought I-"

"I will mom. Don't worry."
