Ten years later, Severus and I were married and had still been working at Hogwarts. We had a child, named Severyn Snape. It was finally time for her first year at Hogwarts.
We were at the train station, ready to let her board the Hogwarts train. I kissed her cheek and she asked, "mother? What if I become a Gryffindor? What if I'm not in Slytherin?" I smiled and said, " Severyn... You are talented. No matter what house you get in, your father and I will always love you. " I kissed her cheek and she hugged me. Severus hugged Severyn and kissed her head, leaning down a bit. She was tall for her age. I could already tell she would be as talk as Severus. She walked away and said, "see you at the school!" We nodded and walked to our own train... The staff train. McGonagall was still alive, nearly as old as Dumbledore was when I attended Hogwarts. Dumbledore was still, happily alive. We sat in a unit with her, Severus and I side by side and McGonagall across from us. We held hands under the table as McGonagall spoke. "I heard your daughter will be attending this year for her first year," McGonagall said, a smile creased on her lips. I nodded and said, "that is correct, Minerva." "How is she feeling about it?," Minerva asked. I replied, "she's a bit worried about which house she will be in, but I'm trying to help her relax." Minerva chuckled and said, "it'll be fine. Knowing your family's history, she'll more than likely be in Slytherin." I nodded.
A few hours later, we were in the process of the sorting ceremony. Minerva had finally called Severyn. "Another Oglesby? Wait... A Snape? What happened there? Right... In those families... Mmmm. Mhm.. Right... But..... Different....... I'll put you in........ Ravenclaw!" I clapped beside Severus as Minerva clapped. Severus just had a look of pride in his eyes. That was normal for him. He still wasn't very talkative, but he was more upbeat when around Severyn and I.... Only when we were all alone, though. Albus allowed me to move in to Severus's private quarters, once we were married.
