[THIRD PERSON POV]

Hinata glanced over to Komaeda with a soft yet discouraged smile. Komaeda had been hanging out with Hinata and Hinata doubted Komaeda would like some like him.

Yes, that's right. Hinata Hajime, the Ultimate ???, was in love with Komaeda Nagito, the Ultimate Lucky Student. Hinata was unsure if he had a talent, Komaeda believed he did, and knew that if he didn't have one, Komaeda wouldn't like someone like him.

Komaeda was currently talking with Tsumiki, the Ultimate Nurse, and seemed quite happy. He spotted a light blush across both of their faces as he felt a stab through his heart.

His heart pounding, his eyes swelling up in tears as he realised they both liked each other. Nanami looked over to Hinata, realising that he didn't look alright.

" Hinata k-!" Nanami asked him but was cut off by Hinata collapsing, his body falling onto the floor. " HINATA KUN!" She screamed out in shock as she quickly ran to Hinata, grabbing the attention of the others as they rushed to the scene.

" Pig face, help out! Big brother collapsed!" Saionji yelled at Tsumiki as Tsumiki quickly realised what was going on, quickly running to Hinata and started checking up on him.

Komaeda, just now only realising what was going on, went over to the crowd, not noticing who collapsed. " Everyone, please calm do-" Komaeda stopped in his tracks as he saw Hinata's body on the floor, Tsumiki rushing to check on him. ' Wh-What..? Hinata kun...? '

He couldn't believe it. A happy and healthy person like Hinata collapsed and turned sick within a second. Komaeda couldn't believe it. He couldn't. He couldn't, couldn't, couldn't, couldn't, couldn't!

Komaeda stared blankly at Hinata's face as he was still unconscious, he felt numb. ' What if he died..? He couldn't die in just a second right..? '

Tsumiki sighed softly, breaking Komaeda out of his thoughts. " H-He's not d-dead... Th-That's a fact... " Tsumiki started, Komaeda's face lighting up.

' That means that he's alive and alri-'

" B-But, there s-seems to be a b-big problem i-in his lungs.. " Tsumiki stated nervously.

" What do you mean..? " Sonia asked, her voice shaky in shock.

" Th-There seems to be f-flowers and v-vines in h-his lungs.. I-I'm not sure h-how they g-g-got there but... Th-This will slow h-his breathing down.. " Tsumiki sighed as she asked Nekomaru to bring him to the infirmary.

" Hanahaki..? " Chiaki thought out loud as she stared at the sky in confusion.

" Hana- What? What does that mean? " Owari asked as she was busy eating her kebab messily.

" I'm not really sure... But.. In a game, I heard that hanahaki was a disease that someone gets when they fall in love but thinks that the other person doesn't fall in love with them. The side effects are coughing up blood and petals, heavy breathing and passing out often. If it gets worse then... They'll die.. " Nanami explained softly, clearly worried for Hinata.
