It's been a week since Kiba had started to like Hinata, but it's also been a week since they started the Chunin Exams, they've finished the writing exams and The Forest already and had started the preliminary rounds and the matches had started first up was Sasuke Uchiha vs Yoroi Akado and Sasuke had won that by close the next match was Shino Aburame vs Zaku Abumi a ninja from the sound and the winner was Shino the next match was Kankuro a ninja from the sand vs Misumi Tsurugu and Kankuro won that match then it was the "rivals in love" Sakura Haruno vs Ino Yamanka and well, no one really won that one, then it was Temari, Kankuro's sister from the sand vs Tenten, "Ooooo" They said as Tenten landed on Temari's fan on her back and just shook her off "Tenten!" Rock Lee, her teammate yelled running to her as he caught her just in time "Hey! Don't treat Tenten like that!" "Ha! Who are you?! Her boyfriend?!" Lee then became furious and started to run towards her "Lee!" Guy Sensei said running to him "Don't! You haven't been picked yet! You can't fight her" Guy said, Lee was still looking at Temari with an angry look "Temari" said her younger brother, Gaara "Just come up and don't waste anymore time with this loser and his ridiculous Sensei" He said, it was now Gaara's turn to be glared at by Lee "C'mon Lee" Guy said going back up as two men put Tenten on a stretcher and took her away "Next up" The man said everybody looked at the screen with the names flashing, it finally stopped and read Shikamaru Nara "Man, a girl?" Shikamaru said when he went down "Why do I have to fight a girl?" He groaned "Don't worry kid this will all be over soon" Tsuchi grinned "Whatever" "Start!" Shikamaru then started his hand signal "Ha! Your not going to use that Shadow Possesion Justu again right?! I've seen what it can do in The Forest so I'll know what not to do" Shikamaru grew annoyed "C'mon don't use that lame Justu!" She said "Just shut up!" Shikamaru shouted, "I think Shikamaru's got this one, don't you think Hinata?" Kiba asked with his arms on the railing and looking at her "Y-Yeah, I believe he can do this" Hinata said "I-I wonder who I'm going to fight" She said looking around and that's when she came in eye contact with Neji, he gave her a look making her look away scared, "Hm?" Kiba said looking at Neji, he let out a low growl "Hey, don't worry about him Hinata, I'm sure you don't go against him" He said trying to comfort her, she didn't say a word she just stared down playing with her fingers, Kiba glared at Neji but Neji just looked away, Kiba rolled his eyes and started to look around and see who he could end up with "Gaara? Neji? Lee? Choji?" He looked around again "Naruto" he said to himself "Ha! That'll be so easy! Imagine that!" Kiba said in his head, Kiba was so caught up in thinking that he didn't even notice the match had ended "The winner is.... Shikamaru Nara!" "Yay! Go Shikamaru!" Ino cried "That was such a drag" Shikamaru said walking back up to his place "Next is..." Everyone once again stared at the screen with the flashing names until it stopped "Yes! Yes! Yes! It's finally my turn!!" Naruto yelled out "Hey! Look Akamaru! We got lucky!!" Kiba shouted they both went down to the arena and were just ready to fight, Kiba was Naruto's bully and Naruto was Kiba's rival in love, so this was going to be a good fight "This is going to be so easy!" Naruto said grinning "What was that screw-up?" Kiba asked "I'm the one who's going to beat you in the first few seconds of the match" "Ha! I'd like to see you do it" Naruto said, Kiba gave a grin "Begin!" Kiba then put down Akamaru on the floor and patted him "Hey! No dogs he's going to interfere with the battle!" Naruto shouted "Man you really are an idiot" Kiba said "He's going to fight too loser" "Huh? Is that allowed?" Naruto asked turning to the man hosting the fight "Yes, just like Shino's bugs, animals are weapons too" "What's wrong? You're scared already?" Kiba chuckled "No! In fact you can use your dumb dog! You'll need a handicap!" Naruto shouted, "Hm" Kiba said "Akamaru stay there, I'll fight alone" Hinata played with her fingers, "W-Who should I vote for?" Hinata asked herself "Kiba will probably get mad if I don't cheer for him, but Naruto..." "Man-Beast Justu" Kiba said doing a hand sign as chakra filled his body he then dashed to Naruto "He's fast!" Naruto said to himself noticing Kiba was already at his place, Kiba then elbowed his stomach and sent him flying, Kiba stopped and saw Naruto knocked out on the floor, he stood up and grinned "That's the difference in our skill" Kiba said walking back up but he heard Naruto move, Kiba stopped and look back "What?" He asked "Ha! W-Was that the best you got?!" Naruto said weakly as he wiped the blood on the corner of his mouth, Kiba crossed his arms "Quit the tough act already, your bleeding" Kiba said "So? You hit like an old lady!" He shouted, Kiba snickered "Sure" "You can use your dog now if you want, you'll need it!" Naruto said "Whatever, your going to regret saying that" Kiba said "Akamaru c'mon" "Arf!" Kiba grabbed smoke bombs from his pouch and threw them "Huh? I-I can't see!" Naruto shouted "Uh" he said as he felt a fist punch hit his stomach he felt a fist hitting his face, stomach and everywhere, he couldn't see until he saw an exit "Yes!" He ran to it but Akamaru tackled him down "Yeah! He fell for it!" Kiba said, the smoke finally cleared and all was left was Naruto knocked out and Akamaru sitting there "Good boy! Come here Akamaru!!" He said as Akamaru ran to him but before Kiba picked him up Akamaru suddenly bit him "A-Akamaru?" "Ha!" He heard Akamaru say "Whaat?! Naruto!! Get off me!!" He shouted pushing him off Naruto transformed back to himself "Ew! You taste like dog!" Kiba glared "Where's Akamaru?! "Right here!" A clone of Naruto said holding Akamaru, Kiba took a deep breathe "Okay Naruto just let Akamaru go" Kiba said throwing a small object into Akamarus mouth, Akamaru then started to turn red "What?!" Naruto said letting him go "What did you do to him? Why is his fur red?!" "Well that's why he's called Akamaru" Kiba said, he looked up and saw Hinata, he smiled uncontrollably but he noticed she had a worried look on her face, he looked at Naruto and back at Hinata, he clenched his fist, Naruto was still staring as Akamaru jumped on Kiba's back and turned into a clone of Kiba , Why?! Why Naruto?! Out of all the people in Konoha why does Hinata have to like Naruto?! Kiba grew more and more angrily just thinking about Naruto and Hinata, Kiba clenched both fists angrily "Fang Over Fang!!" Kiba shouted as him and Akamaru spiraled fast into Naruto "Aggghhhhghhgh!!!!" Naruto yelled as he got hit and flew up as soon as Kiba landed on his feet he looked up and watched Naruto fall to the ground "Remember if I kick enough asses, I could end up Hokage!" Kiba shouted, Naruto was still on the floor, he then started to move he then started to get up he had more trouble getting up from the other time Naruto said "I-I will become Hokage! N-Not you!" Naruto said wiping the blood coming from his mouth "Whatever" Kiba said running to Naruto and punching him, Naruto sled back "Uh" Kiba suddenly appeared right next to him, Naruto's eyes widened "Don't stop!" Kiba said before punching him hard in the face and sending him flying, Kiba looked as Naruto fell on the ground, his fists had blood on them "Yes, this is what he gets" Kiba said, " I will win" Kiba looked up at a worried Hinata "For her..." Naruto moved a little bit, he then put his head up and put hands on the ground and slowly lifted himself up "I..." Naruto said on his knees and stood up with his head down "I-I won't give up! C-Cause that's my ninja way!" Naruto said putting his head up, Kiba glared at Naruto and Naruto did the same, it was clear things were getting tough, they both ran at each other with fists ready to punch, things were getting serious.
