My alarm clock went off as I smacked my lips another year of this shit. My mother burst in the room "get your butt up summer is over and so is your happiness" she joked as I sarcastically laughed then sat up.
"What's wrong with you?" She asked as I sighed "I have school" I stated as she smacked her lips "breakfast will be ready, hurry up so I can drop you off before I go to work you know I don't want you taking the subway" she stated.
"But we're in New York that is our transportation" I stated stretching as she threw a pillow at me. "Hurry up your father and I want to take pictures of you before you go off" she said closing the door as I screamed silently into the pillow.
I got up and walked into my bathroom and started taking a shower then got out and brushed my teeth. I started placing on lotion and then my underwear along with my outfit.
I placed on my ankle bracelet, my bracelet and the necklace my step father gave to me for my 15th birthday. I took my hair down out it's French braids then sprayed it with water creating nice natural curls then placed curling cream in my hair along with mouse so it wouldn't dry out and be bouncy all day.
I laid my edges down then did light eyeshadow and little mascara because my mother doesn't play. I placed on lipgloss and grabbed my peach jansport book bag.
I went downstairs as my mom smiled "You look cute but why black?"

She asked "mommy not right now I have to go" I said whining as they started taking pictures of me. I faked smiled then we got in the car and my mother drove me to school.
"You look cute and it's appropriate for your age" she complimented as I smiled "now for your sweet 16 I was thinking" she started off as I mentally rolled my eyes. "Mommy please it's the first day of 10th grade and I'm excited" I said as she smiled "I know baby and you're getting big" she said as I smiled. She pulling in front of Midtown.
"Please make sure you eat when you get in there" My mother reminded "Yes" I stated getting out "love you" she said "love you too mom, remember you have to go to work" I reminded her closing the door. She checked the time and cursed before pulling off making me laugh.
"You look cute" I heard someone drag as I turned around and looked at my Bestest best friend in the world Michelle. "Thank you" I thanked "you could've worn it a little shorter" my other friend Olivia said as I shook my head "no it's the perfect size it's to my knees" I said smiling.
"Oh girl that's cute" my other friend Britney said making me smile. "How come your mother wouldn't let you go to the back to school party the seniors were throwing?" Olivia asked "because I'm only 15 I don't need to go to no party with 17 and 18 year olds" I stated
"Well you go to school with them" Olivia brought up as I smacked my lips and laughed "it was all the way in Long Island too my mother wasn't driving out there and you know she's not letting me take the train" I added.
