"FUCK."

I sit up, scrambling to get ready when I notice a text from Samu that says 'Come to mine before school.' And so I do, secretly hoping his mother can give us a lift, as we live quite far from the school, and since it was 8:45 am already and school starts at 9 am, I knew I was going to be late. However, to my surprise, when I arrive at the house, the door opens to reveal a shirtless man standing there smoking a joint. "Hola." He says, looking me up and down, smirking.

"Eres el hermano de Samuel?" I ask, remembering seeing him in a picture in one of the photo frames on the table with Samuel. he opens the door, indicating for me to come inside. "Sí. I'm Nano." He responds, still staring at me as he sits down on the sofa.

"So where is he?" I ask, walking over to where he's sat on the sofa, standing in front of him, clearly no sign of Samuel. He smiles at me. "Who are you? To him? His girlfriend?" I scoff at the nosey man who continues to look me up and down, "No. I'm Jada."

"Cute." He responds, and I roll my eyes, "Now where is he?" I ask, placing my phone and bag on the table before wandering towards his room, double checking he's not in his room or the bathroom. Getting increasingly frustrated with being ignored, I turn back to Nano, who is sitting, smirking at me.

I strut over to him, grabbing his chin with my hand and making him look me in the eyes, an unimpressed look spreading across his face. "He's gone to school." He says, and I let go of his face.

"Are you joking me? You could have told me before this? Idiota." He stands up as soon as he hears me, mutter idiot, under my breath, and he looks down on me, making me slightly nervous. "Do not call me an idiot." He says, grabbing my face as I did to him. "Why are you so mad, Little Italia?" He asks, almost as if he was trying to annoy me. I look into his eyes, shaking my head.

"Don't call me Little Italia, Nano. And I'm annoyed because I'm going to be late and I'm there on scholarship! I'm supposed to be well behaved, the good girl." I run my hand through my hair, and he moves his hand from my face to my waist, grip tightening slightly. "Are you a good girl?" "Qué?" I asked, stuttering a little.

"I don't think you're a good girl, Little Italia." He smirked at me, and I looked up at him, surprised by his attitude. "You know what?" I ask, a sudden wave of confidence hitting me, as I stare back at him, a small smirk forming on my face. "You're right. I am a bad girl." I say, pulling the joint from his lips and placing it between my own, taking a couple of pulls, and blowing smoke in his face.

"You're a bit bold considering you just met me." He smirks, leaning toward my face. I gulp loudly, not sure why this man is getting to me so much. He leans further towards me, a smirk on his face causing my mind to race.

And then my phone rang, interrupting whatever was about to happen. I go to turn around, but his grip on my waist stays there, before turning us around so he's closer to the table, and I'm closer to the sofa. He picks up my phone, hangs up the call, and I shake my head as he holds my phone out of reach.
