I wake up at 10:34am with caitlin sitting at the end of my bed pinching my toes that are poking out of the bed "wtf" I mumble pulling my feet under the blanket

"Time to wake up!"

"I don't think so" i say pulling the covers up hiding my face

Caitlin pulls the blanket off of me and pours a cold cup of water onto my face

"Sucks to be youuu"

"Fkn bitch"

i stand up and walk to the bathroom and turn on the shower.

After my shower i went into Caitlin's room where she is sitting with shelly doing the ball trick she showed Calum, Luke and I.

"Where'd you get that necklace?"

"I found it in my mums jewellery box yesterday"

"Oh ok, well mum started making lunch before so it should be ready by now lets go" Caitlin said standing up putting her turtle away and leading the way to the kitchen

As we got to the kitchen our food was set out on the table and there was also a box above one of the plates

"Oh there you girls are, i was just about to call you both out to come down.

Ashleigh there is a package on the table for you from someone named Luke Hemmings."

"Thanks" Caitlin and I both say

"Oh my god Ash i wonder what it is"

I open the package and wonder what could be in the box. Once I opened it i saw what was inside and pulled it out.

It was a small pink and blue teddy bear with red lips on it and 'XOX' written on it in different spots

"Awww that is adorable!" caitlin says in awe

I pick up the card that is also in the box and read it

'Ashleigh,

I am so sorry for your loss and I want you to know that I'm going to be here for you whenever you need me, i hope you like the bear and that your okay.

Whenever you need a hug, hug the bear and just think that your hugging me ;)

"Aww your going tearing!, that is actually so cute though" says Caitlin pulling the card from me reading it again

"I have to go say thank you, ill be right back"

I quickly go to Caitlin's bedroom where i left my phone and start calling Luke once i got it, after two rings he picks up,

"Hello"

"Hey Luke"

"Hey ash"

"I got my teddybear from you, I love it, thank you so much it means alot"

"Aw thats okay im glad you like it. How are you doing anyway?"

"Im good"

"Ash you can tell, how are you really?"

"Ok, im actually really fkn shit but your little present has made me feel so much better. To be honest with you, when I think about you I realise that your all that matters now and Luke i really like you and want to meet you"

"Ash i really like you too and I promise that we'll meet soon"

"Sorry Luke i have to go Caitlin's calling me but talk soon, thankyou again for the teddybear, bye."

"Bye babe"

I put the phone into my pocket and walk back to the kitchen

"Ashleigh!"

"Im here what?"

"Arghhh! holy fucker you scared me, your lunch is getting cold"

"Salad doesnt go cold Caitlin"

"I know but i wanted you to hurry up so i could talk to you about Lover boy Luke"

I sit down and push the teddy bear and box over to the other side of the tabble

"Lover boy Luke?"

"Lover boy Luke."

"Omg ok"

"So do you think you love him?"

"I dont think i should be thinking about boys right now but if i wasnt in this situation then yeah i would say that"

"Oooooh"

"What about you and Calum huh?"

"Yea i really like him, he said that he loves me but i didnt say it back because we havnt met yet so im not sure how i really feel." she says pushing around her salad not eating it

"Yea i get what your saying." I nod and smile while actually eating my food unlike Caitlin

"Why Arnt you eating?"

"I fkn hate salad." she says which makes me burst out in laughter making her laugh and spit out her drink

After a day of bowling in the bowling alley where both laying on the coach watching Alice in Wonderland

"Ash?"

"What?"

"You seem pretty happy lately despite your mums death, why so happy?"

"Um i don't know, iv never liked being sad or depressed so im trying not to look it but i really am sad about it and its her funeral two days after my birthday which makes me not excited for my birthday at all for the first time ever."

"I was thinking about your birthday yesterday, what do you want to do on it? Its tomorrow."

"Nothing" i say looking at her

"Ok we'll go to the beach!" she says while texting on her phone

"Fine" i mumble
