Its the 1st of April which means theres exactly one month to my birthday, I don't plan on doing anything but it's still exciting.

I get out of bed have my shower and eat my bowl of cereal while watching TV.

I go through all the channels and click my favourite show Ridiculousness, I see a guy face plant while he's on a motorbike which makes me laugh and I spill my milk and cereal almost everywhere .shit. I have no idea how to clean it off so i just wipe it of with my hand and flip the cushion over.

"Knock knock bitches got my turtle in my hands and he's about to land"

I reckonise the voice to be Caitlin's and knowing its her after she mentions the turtle she comes into the lounge room and places Shelly on the coffee table.

"Wow, looks like you'v been having some fun this morning" Caitlin says referring to the spilt milk on my clothes and legs

"Its just milk"

"Thats what they always say"

I walk over to the sink and wipe myself of with a damp towel

"So Calum called me this morning" Caitlin says as she picks her turtle up stroking its shell

"And..."

"He asked for my address"

"What the hell, did you tell him?"

"Yea, he said theres going to be a surprise for me in the mail. He also asked for yours so he could tell Luke & yeah i told him, sos for not asking you first"

Why would the boys want our address? It makes me feel a bit panicky since I'm home alone for another day.

"Thats okay"

"So whens your mum coming back?"

"Im pretty sure tomorrow night"

"Awesome, we should stay the night here with Brooklyn is well"

"Okay ill ring her while you go put your turtle back and ask your mum"

"Cool this will be fun, be back soon"

I pick up my phone and go through my contacts list searching for Brooklyn's name, i find her name click on it and it starts ringing.

After four rings she picks up

"Hello?"

"Hiiii"

"Hey Ash whats up?"

"The sky"

"Seriously..."

"Ok, i was wondering if u want to stay at mine with Caitlin?"

"Sure i'll come around at 1"

"K bye"

"Bye"

I hang up the phone and push it into my shorts pocket and see Caitlin walk in with her bag and sleeping bag

"So is Brooklyn coming?"

"Yea she'll be here at 1"

"Ok, its only 11:15 so lets go to the park"

After coming back from the park its 12:30 which means Brooklyn will be here in half an hour, we set up our beds which just turns into a pillow fight and a messy room

"Anybody home?!" we here brooklyn yell from the bottom of the stairs

Caitlin & I grab a pillow and sit at the top of the stair case with Brooklyn at the bottom "oh god" we hear her say which we take as a signal to go.

We are bumping up and down the stairs and as were almost at the bottom i see Brooklyn jump in front of me with her legs wide. Once we were at the bottom we kept gliding on the tilled floor & i go straight through Brooklyn's legs

"That was really fun but it hurt my ass" says Caitlin through fits of laughter

"Well hello Brooklyn"

"Uh hi" she says with a big grin on her face

"I can tell this is going to be a really really fun night"
