Chapter 14

Liam’s POV

I guess I kind of care about Emmaly but harry just had to say no. Now how hell are we going to tell people he got a busted lip “hi everyone harry told that girl we adopted yeah well he told her best friend that he didn’t care about her. She can really punch. That is why—“I shook the thought away. He stayed with Morgan but, because we are not her guardians they won’t tell us what happened. They almost didn’t let harry stay with her last night.

Everyone is on edge thinking we should leave Emmaly, it’s not like she will be alone. I mean yesterday we got in a fight with a group of seventh graders. She is sticking with the right people, all up to the drugs and shit. I looked up for to people to come in crying they ran over to Emmaly. Oh god, they were girls crying, I hate this, the taller one said,” d-do you know w-who d-d-did this to her?” I shook my head no.

She looked over to the sleeping Niall and smiled. Wait…..smiled, I guess I know who she likes. I didn’t bother asking who they were. There have been people from the age five to sixty. People I guess she met thanks to her parents. I looked up and they were looking at her arm and they both smiled. The shorter one that was a dirty blonde said,” She’s still got the scar.” I got up and asked,” Scar?”

I walked over they pointed out an ovule on her arm, I asked,” What is it from?” being I still new next to nothing about her. The brown haired girl that was taller said,” salt and ice, she didn’t know it would scar. I remember when it happened that part of her arm was swollen and purple the first few days but, she didn’t care about it.

She went to school ignored the looks she got and it happened to scar. She kicked his ass because he knew it would scar.” he, who is he? Whatever I can ask Emmaly later. They said in unison,” where’s Morgan? She said she wouldn’t leave her side till she’s able to fight again.” Before I could say anything the brown haired gasped and said,” She’s on drugs again isn’t she?”

I shook my head no and shrugged, if I told them she was in the next room they would want to know why, just like me. They said,” Did you hear, they found Emmaly’s parents.” I shook my head no. now we can leave her to her parents. They said,” they were found dead, with threat to Emmaly saying she was next.” That’s would explain yesterday.

I said,” well they found her, this all happened yesterday.” They looked frightened, I sighed and said,” I told you I didn’t know who did it, but I was there. I didn’t know what happened until she screamed and got our attention, she uh was a uh bloody pile on the ground.” I said the last part fast scared of their reaction.

 They looked at the floor and the dirty blonde said,” let me guess Morgan went after them and caught them only to get her ass kicked?” she said ‘them’ like it was poison. I shook my head no and said,” she went after them caught them and she said they did it because of orders. So she let him go and came back and shouted down the phone, then came in here and collapsed in the corner.”

The brown haired girl said,” Opps, my name is Karina and this is Holly.”  I nodded at each of them. I said,” would be able to find out what happened to Morgan? They wouldn’t tell us.” They smiled and nodded and left the room. Niall said,” well, their nice, but do you think they will be mad when they find what happened between harry and her?” I looked at Emmaly and shrugged, I mean we can only hope not.

The girls ran back in holly was crying and Karina was on the verged of tears. Zayn hugged Holly; I didn’t know he woke up. I looked over at Karina, she was looking at Emmaly. She went through her purse and took out a needle. I said,” Wait…what’s that?” she shook her head and said,” Emmaly designed this and many more, having her mom as a nurse she had access to the prescription medication and made drugs for this matter. She didn’t tell anyone but us because she didn’t want her mom going to jail about her getting drugs or the wrong people getting their hands on it.”

She stuck the needle in her arm and Emmaly let out a small whimper, then she pulled the needle out of her arm. Emmaly sat up and hugged her and said,” thank you.” She looked around the room with a smile that dropped she asked,” Where’s Morgan?” holly cried harder into Zayns shirt.

 I said,” Harry and Morgan are in the next room.” She gasped and said,” the drugs?!?! This my fault, all my fuckin fault.” I said,” they wouldn’t tell me or any of us in that matter.” She yelled,” nurse.” A couple of nurses ran in and said,” you’re alive. This is great”

Emmaly said,” why is Morgan in the next room?” the nurse said,” she took a over dose of something the blood sample hasn’t come back yet.” Emmaly looked down and said,” Its drugs.” The nurse said,” even if she told you how would you know and would you be able to tell me the dealer?”

 Emmaly looked nerves and said,” I know there drugs and the drug dealer is…….is…..” the nurse yelled,” oh, spit it out already child!!” Emmaly nodded and said,” the drug dealer is me.” The nurse started laughing and said,” good one now, tell me who is the real drug dealer.”

Emmaly looked up at her and the look she gave the nurse made the nurse say,” you? You’re the real drug dealer? Wow everyone thought more of you, I am one of the many people who thought you would become a doctor not a drug dealer- “Emmaly yelled,” NOT BY MY FUCKIN CHOICE!!!!!!!!!!!!”

I said,” maybe it’s best if Emmaly can-“Emmaly yelled,” no, ok listen I can’t tell you all of this right now but here is a short summary that you won’t tell anyone. My mom’s dad knocked some chick up at a bar and left him and his mother for my grandmother and their kids. Well he found out about me and promised to make my life hell by a threat that is why drugs are in the picture and my parents and brother. I am also not the only kid he does this to, he has kids in different countries.”  She looked at Zayn and said,” but if I do extra, I can get people released. Isn’t that right? Zayn, Louis?”

They looked at her and Louis said,” you got me released why?” Zayn said,” Why get us released if you put more on yourself?” Emmaly nodded and said,” look, were you are now; you have girls across the country with die hard crushes on you guys. I wouldn’t even be alive most likely if I didn’t.”

Emmaly said,” well I’m tired goodnight.” Before she could even close her eyes, I said,” Wait the scar on your left arm who gave it to you?” she smiled and said,” in my defense I didn’t know it would scar and a idiot it doesn’t matter.” Then she fell asleep.

Harry’s POV

I woke Morgan was still in my arms, I looked at her she was awake. I said,” morning” she laughed and said,” It’s two in the afternoon.” I said, “then why didn’t you wake me or move out of my arms?” she scoffed and said,” I couldn’t you had your arms wrapped around to tight I couldn’t break free.”

I said,” Why didn’t you wake me?” she blushed and looked away. I smiled and she said,” so…. Do you plan on letting me go any time soon?” I shook my head no. she said,” I was wrong.” She looked away while she said that, I asked,” what do you mean.”

She didn’t look at me but answered,” you, I thought you guys would be gone by now but you stayed here all night with me. I’m sorry.” A tear rolled down her cheek and I brushed it away with my thumb.

She closed her eyes and I said,” it looks like you could use some more sleep, I won’t leave.” She nodded. She laid down and I pulled her into my chest she didn’t protest either. Then I fell asleep again.
