Chapter 15

Harry’s POV

I woke up, looked around and saw Morgan still asleep in my arms. I looked out the window and saw it was dark out. I looked at my phone; it was four-thirty in the morning. I remember Emmaly saying that she loved to listen to the birds in the morning and that they normally come out around now.

I listened and I instantly heard the birds. I smiled the way they tweeted was just like how Emmaly whistled, she whistled like this whenever she was in deep thought, or uneasy about something.

 I lay there for awhile, until I heard the door open. I looked over and it was Emmaly. She walked over by Morgan and whispered,”harry, are you awake?” I smiled and said,” yeah, glad to see you’re alright.” She sighed, and said,” the drugs I gave her that’s why she’s here, I was told you guys didn’t know. I am going to save her but if anyone asks she healed inhumanly fast,” before I could say anything, she stuck a needle in Morgan's arm.

When she pulled the needle out, she backed away and said,”Morgan?” I heard a small yes. I looked down and sure enough, her eyes were open. I looked back up at Emmaly, she said,”Morgan, I am so sorry. I shouldn’t have gave you them, I shouldn’t have told you. H-h-he i-is after y-you.”

She fell to her knees crying, I got up, I hugged her, made shushing noises and rubbed her back in circles.

Morgan said,” god, Emmaly you need a drink.” I froze, did she just say that? Emmaly said,” Never again, he tricked me into getting drunk, never again will I drink.” I let go of her and backed away from her and then Morgan. Emmaly mumbled,” I’m sorry.”

 I barley caught it and she backed into the farthest corner from me. I stopped walking and said,” why it’s not your fault I adopted a crazy child that does drugs and- -“wait what the hell am I doing? I looked over at where she was and I heard glass break and she was gone out the window.

I heard a nurse come in she looked around and yelled ,” Emmaly no no no this is not fair she didn’t do anything, please- - -“ I felt bad the nurse ran out shouting,” Emmaly ran away again Emmaly ran away again!!” god I can’t belie- -. Wait again? I ran over to Morgan and asked,” Emmaly ran away before?”

She looked pained, she said,” Everytime someone might get caught around her she would leave to try and keep them safe. she always goes of but never tells anyone. she says its to much of a risk. i just don't know anymore. i swear she has spent so much time here and there. she could never just sit still."

I couldn’t believe this, I asked,” where does she go?” she looked even more pained and said,” no one knows, she doesn’t take anyone there.” It hit me the cabin.

I jumped up and yelled,” I KNOW WHERE SHE IS GOING! OH MY GOD I KNOW WHERE EMMALY IS GOING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” most of the nurses ran into the room.

Morgan asked,” how would you know?” I smiled and said,” she was mad at frank and she was driving but, I wouldn’t let her leave alone so she took me to this abandoned cabin, I think I know the way.”

Morgan gasped and said,” I am so stupid it was right there in front of my face.” I asked,” did she take you too?” she shook her head no and said,” in this book she was writing on wattpad, the girl ran to a abandoned cabin and it even gave the address.”

She smiled and said,” now that I know, I also know she is safe. Emmaly has met Indians that are unknown and live in secretly up there, she one that was injured and close to death she took him back to that cabin and kept him there until he was as good as he was going to get. They have watched out for her since, she has weapons up there too.” I nodded and yawned. The nurses left feeling a little better now I climbed in bed next to Morgan and fell asleep.

Emmaly’s POV

Wow they didn’t even look out the window to see if I was still here, which I was. This is not good, they remember the place it is the only place I have left that I feel safe at. I figured I might as well go there.

When I got home, I figured I would go to the cabin tomorrow. With that I fell asleep.
