Chapter 7

Third Person's POV

Hanamiya's suspicions were confirmed when he saw Kazuki kiss Rena. Even if he did suspect him, he was still jealous.

"What the.." he was able to say in disbelief.

"H-Hanamiya-senpai!" Kazuki faked a surprise tone as Rena quickly turned around to face him. She still couldn't believe what happened.

"Y-yoshikawa-kun.." 

When Rena noticed it, Hanamiya already left the gym, so she chased him, running quickly to catch up to him. She did not even noticed the few tears streaming down her face. She just wanted to explain the situation to Hanamiya; nevertheless, she did not blame Kazuki. She still hasn't noticed his motives and the reality of his actions, while Hanamiya has.

"M-makoto," she stuttered when she caught up to him while catching her breath. She's not a fast runner. After calling him out though, she was out of words. She didn't know what to say.

After several seconds of silence and awkwardness, Hanamiya was the one to break the ice. He was looking at her seriously, anger and jealousy evident in his face. He clenched his fists as if to prevent himself from throwing a fit. 

"H-how," he started, but paused, trying to think of the next thing to say. "Rena," he called her name.

She flinched and looked up at him, for he was taller than she. "I-it's not what you think! He only confessed, and..he was the one who starte--"

"I don't care who started it! It didn't change the fact that you kissed that bastard! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" he shouted the words he wanted to say the least. "Get out of my sight." 

He didn't mean to say it, but his anger and jealousy got the better of him. 

"But--"

"I TOLD YOU TO LEAVE ME ALONE, DIDN'T I?!" 

"But Makoto!"

"I DON'T F*CKING CARE!"

More tears streamed down her face when he said the hurtful words he didn't want to say. His expression went from his serious one to a softened expression when he saw her cry. It was too late though, for she already ran away. 

"Damn it," he cursed himself for saying such stupid things. He turned around when he heard a chuckle. 

"You deserve it, Hanamiya-senpai~" Kazuki said.

Hanamiya's eyes, naturally, flared up in anger.

"You.."

"What about me?" Kazuki asked, pretending to be innocent. "I only confessed my feelings."

"You did that on purpose for me to see, didn't you?! You don't truly like her!" 

Kazuki smirked. "At least, you have a brain~!"

"Are you calling her stupid?"

"What else? She's cute though."

"You bastard!" he cried while throwing in a punch. 

Kazuki caught the punch and griSave & Publishnned. "You're weak."

"Damn you!" 

They continued to fight for minutes until Kazuki finally collapsed.

"You're strong," Hanamiya admitted. "I won't forgive you though," he finished with a glare while leaving him lying on the ground. He wanted to vent his anger on someone, and Kazuki just happened to be that person. He deserved it though.
