Zelda POV
"I am officially completely furious with Tora! How could she do that?!" Suddenly when I'm writing in my journal/diary we go over a bump or something on the road and the van bops up and down abruptly causing me to drop my pencil onto the floor. It rolls over to the opposite side of the van hitting the seat Tora is on. I lean over to grab it, but I just about can't reach without standing up and walking over to it.
Tora: "Be a bit more careful pup there!" Tora shouts over to Halo, who is driving, receiving a mumble back something along the lines of 'I wasn't even going that fast.' or 'It wasn't even that big a bump.' or something along those lines.
Just before I get up to get my pencil Tora leans over and grabs it, and extends her arm to pass it to me.
Normally I would thank someone for passing me something, but I'm way to riled up to want to say just about anything to Tora right now.
I Look her in the eye for a moment before snatching the pencil off here and looking down at my diary to continue writing.
"You're probably wondering what on earth is making me so mad with her, right? I'll start from where I left off then.
It all started just a few hours ago, things were going semi-normally and as my usual routine goes I was practicing tai chi in my bedroom before I went back to sleep. Then suddenly Halo and Aaliyah started banging on my door and telling me we have to go to Halo's room to talk to Tora. I was very confused at this point as you may expect so Halo started explaining on the way there.
She said that Tora told her she saw Kraang in our building so Tora being Tora followed them out of curiosity. They went to Master Shredder and started telling him about some kind of mind-controlling technology, leaving out all the really small details there was going to be some kind of trade, the mind-controlling tech for a mutant turtle. Shredder offered Leonardo since we had already captured him, but that's not who the Kraang wanted...they wanted one of us! Tora, of course, expected Shredder to refuse, but...he agreed! They decided to schedule a later date for deciding which turtle would be traded.
Immediately Tora left and told Halo, and they both agreed that we should all leave. That leads to the main reason I am mad at Tora. Obviously when we were all informed we agreed we should bring Leonardo as well, since he wasn't all so bad like Master Shredder had made him out to be, but when we went to his cell he was not there. I don't know how Tora knew, but she knew where he was for some reason. That somewhere being one of the torture rooms. Before tonight I've never been in one before, I was never allowed to, none of us were apart from Tora."
I hear a low groan and look up from my notebook for where the noise came from. It very apparently came from Leo who is shifting uncomfortably at the back of the van. His injuries probably hurt quite a bit, from what I could diagnose in such a short time he has at least one broken rib, various deep cuts, along with some kind shallow stab wound on his arm, and extensive bruising. I look at him for a few short moments before turning my attention back to my notepad and continuing to write.
"I never knew why she was allowed in, but sometimes I would listen outside the door. The first time I did I was around the age of six, what I heard was screams. A lot of screams. They weren't Tora's though, they were someone else's. When I would see Tora afterward she always had a sort of disconnected, dead, cold look in her eyes for the next few days. I was so scared I never listened again for years! Until when I was about eleven, I would continue the habit. Sometimes I would hear laughs even...they scared me more than the screams, honestly. Until this very day, I have no idea what happened in those rooms. I've asked Tora, but she never tells me.
Anyway, I'm getting totally off topic. Pretty much when we got to the right room, where Leonardo was, we saw him strung up with chains, being hurt by some foot soldiers. Within seconds all the foot were lying on the ground, and it didn't take me long to realize they were dead. Tora killed them. These weren't foot bots, these were foot SOLDIERS, real, alive people! Well, at least they were alive until Tora killed them without a second on hesitation all because they were hurting Leonardo. They shouldn't have been doing what they were, but killing them?! That's too far! They were only following orders from whoever their senior officer was, ultimately being Master Shredder. Mostly the foot 'army' or whatever you want to call it is just bots, but there are quite a few actual people, not just robots. Why would Tora do that? More importantly, how? How could she do that?"
Thanks for reading and as always requests of any kind are open! I'm still recovering from the April's Fools chapter wrote!
