A/N: Here is another chapter and I hope you enjoy it.
Half way through this chapter, I almost scrapped the whole thing, but I finally decided to go with my original idea and leave it as is. :)
Wayo POV
"Come on, Yo. Let's go meet up with P'Forth. It has been so long since we have talked with him. Please, pretty please." Ming gives me the saddest puppy dog face that he can. Well, with everyone else, this works, but not with me. I'm used to it and it doesn't even phase me anymore.
However, Shane still hasn't built up his defenses against it and he caves almost instantly. "Oh, come on Yo. It will be fun. Plus, you never know who you will run into. Maybe you will find someone who will finally catch your eye. For the whole year that I've known you and been your friend, you have never dated. It is about time that you start."
Well, neither Shane or Ming know that I have secretly had my eye on someone, but I never thought that I was good enough for him. He was always a level above me and there was no way that I could even think of standing next to him. Yes, I said him.
So, since we were going to have a year apart, I decided that I needed to level up and become someone who can not only stand next to him but who was on the same level as him. I ditched my glasses for contacts, and I lost weight. Thanks to Shane, I learned how to fight and if I must say so, I'm pretty good at it. With both Ming and Shane beside me, no one dared to tease, bully or pick on me anymore. Well, Ming and Shane still do, but no one else does.
I lift weights and gone is the baby fat which is replaced with muscles. A lot of muscles that make me look manly, if I have my arms exposed or my shirt is off completely. However, I still have the baby face and some chubby cheeks that everyone keeps telling me that they are just begging to be pinched.
I still don't see it, but I'm not going to argue with them.
I also learned to drive not only a car but a motorcycle. I thought a motorcycle would be more manly. When the three of us go out on our bikes, we get plenty of stares and a few whistles, which still make me blush. I can't help it. I'm not used to the attention, unless it was someone that wanted to bully me.
I quickly see that this is two against one and reluctantly cave. "Okay. I have to admit that it has been a while since we have hung out with P'Forth. However, we have orientation tomorrow so we can't stay out too late, okay. I want to make sure that I get up on time tomorrow. It wouldn't look good if I over slept on my first day." Well, I also want to try and get some reading done too, but I'm not going to tell them that.
Ming happily claps his hands and shouts, "Yes!!"
A smile suddenly spreads across Shane's face too. I guess I made both of them happy.
Shane happily announces, "Okay, let's go change and go get something to eat and then we will meet up with P'Forth."
We all nod and together we walk back to our dorms. We weren't lucky enough to be in the same dorm, but Ming and Shane did get in the dorm right next to mine, which made me happy. At least, I'm not too far from them.
***
Unfortunately, Forth's dorm happens to be on the other side of the university, so when we finish our meal, we head over to Forth's dorm.
As we walk up to his dorm room, I can't help but to wonder if he will even recognize me. The last time we all hung out, I still wore my glasses and I was still chunky. He hasn't seen me since my transformation and I'm wondering if he will still know who I am. However, I'm sure that his parents told him about all my changes. When my dad and I ran into them at a restaurant a couple months ago, they were so surprised, and they couldn't stop saying that they were happy that I didn't lose my baby face. I still don't understand everyone's fascination with my baby face.
