It was now one day before the pool party, the 5 males were constantly texting in their small group chat about how amazing the day was going to be and how much of a loser taehyung was for having to bring all the snacks and sodas.
another day another trip to hoseok's house yoongi gloomly thought as he was currently knocking on hoseok's door. Surprisingly though, hoseok did not hit yoongi this time, they only cuddled and watched scary movies while hoseok pecked yoongi's.
yoongi did notice however that hoseok was acting pretty suspicious. There was this awfully strong rose-scented perfume floating around his room and when yoongi arrived, hoseok was pretty sweaty and looked exhausted. Maybe he had just gotten back from the gym, yoongi thought as that was the only reasonable explanation. Gosh this highly scented perfume is killing my nostril hairs. he probably didn't want me to smell his sweat so he bought a new perfume, aww I love him so much.
"Hey yoongi baby, let me see your phone."
yoongi gave hoseok his phone without a fight, he didn't want to disrupt his calm and sweet behavior because of a stupid phone and he knew better than to disobey him.
"where are you guys going tomorrow?"
Oh crap! I forgot to delete my messages. Damn it!
"o-oh i-its just that jimin invited j-jungkook and I to g-go to the b-beach tomorrow." you could visibly see yoongi's body tense up and get more nervous.
"huh. alright. just no dirty stuff." he calmly replied and took out his phone to message a certain someone.
yoongi was surely glad hoseok did not get all defensive and overprotective so he enjoyed the rest of his stay peacefully and a little less afraid than usual.

It was late at night when yoongi heard the sound of his door opening and a small voice speaking up
"yoongi hyung, c-can I please sleep with you tonight? I-I had a nightmare" jungkook's voice cracked as he whimpered in fear.
yoongi responded back with a quiet okay and scooted over to let jungkook under the blankets. jungkook moved closer, so close that yoongi's back was against his chest and he was hugging the smaller male tightly. Both boys were on cloud nine as their heartbeats quickened, excitement and adoration pumping through their veins until eventually falling asleep in each other's embrace and warmth.
this was surely a night to remember.
