today was the day the boys were going to the beach. Ever since last night, jungkook and yoongi felt this bond that they had never felt before and grew even closer, both of them wanting to be something more. Jungkook would always get this weird feeling around his stomach every time he was around yoongi, and yoongi felt truly safe and loved around jungkook.

yoongi had promised himself that he would stay far away from the water in order to not show his bruises and marks that covered his pale skin.

jin had convinced jungkook and yoongi to come and pick him up because his car's wheel was popped and he did nit want to go with jimin and taehyung since they would be smothering each other with kisses and sexual touches.

By the time the boys got to the beach, it was really crowded.

"don't worry guys, we can just go to our special place that we used to go back when we were still in high school remember?" jimin said trying to brighten up the mood.

"oh yeah, the tree on top of the cliff."

and with that they all secretly managed to slip away from all the people and hike up the small mountain trail that they made out of rocks when they were teenagers.

the view was mesmorising and everyone (a/n: except jungkook this was before he was apart of their friend group. he only knew jimin then.) felt a wave of nostalgia hit them as they remembered the happy memories they once had at this very spot with their old dear friend namjoon. The fairy lights they once put up were still on the old oak tree along with their hammock. Their initials were still engraved into the tree along with a few pictures of them pinned onto the tree

"wow its surprising that no one knows this spot except us. Now that there's a new member into our group, I think jungkook should engrave his name on the tree next to ours.. namjoon would've wanted him to." jin sadly smiles as he remembers his first love.

jungkook gladly accepted his offer and grabbed his key. K.T M.Y J.J K.N K.S and P.J now decorated the tree's trunk. After a moment of silence as they remembered their old past happy selves, the boys began to unpack and spread a blanket across the ground as they prepared sandwiches.

The stunning flowers surround the area made it seem more ethereal and magical. This was surely the most beautiful moment in life for all of them, laying down and starring at the clear sky and clouds that passed by made them feel like kids again. kids who had no worries and loved deeply. where there was no one hurting, no one grieving, no one alone. where nothing seemed impossible and hope that dreams could come true still remained. They all missed not having to worry so much about little things and desperately wanting someone to love. They were all so lost in their own little worlds until taehyung spoke up.

"let's see who can jump the farthest into the water!" taehyung excitedly yelled as his eyes lit up in hope.

"alright, the winner will be treated to a restaurant of their choice." Jin smirked challenging taehyung.

They all lined up in a straight line, preparing themselves.

"3..2.1!!" taehyung screamed and everyone began running towards the edge of the cliff, jumping off and landing into the crystal clear blue water, feeling the wind blow on their faces and enjoying the feeling of letting go and falling.

the wonderful sound of splashes were heard and they were all so lost in the moment that when coming out, they didn't notice yoongi was covered in purple bruises and red marks until seconds later.
