yoongi woke up and realized he wasn't in his room. He checked the time and frantically got up. Crap I'm late!! Those morons know I have work today!! Aish I'm going to be late! Yoongi hurriedly put on his shoes and rushed out the door.

"Well good morning to you too." taehyung mumbled and continued drinking his tea as he watched yoongi zoom out.

Yoongi arrived at work 5 minutes late and noticed jungkook was already there.

"Hey yoongi-hyung, you didn't come home last night I was worried sick." jungkook pouted as he stared at the floor.

"i know im really sorry, i should've told you I was going to stay at jimin's house last night." yoongi mumbled back, a slight blush spreading across his cheeks as the words 'worried sick about you' was on repeat in his mind.

Jungkook also noticed that yoongi's stuttering was getting better and he seemed more genuinely happy around him and his other friends. His gummy smile always had a special way of making jungkook smile and causing butterflies to erupt in his stomach. What is this feeling? Jungkook was certainly confused but enjoyed the unknown feeling.

both boys continued having small talk until eventually jin scolded them to get back to work and stop flirting at his cafe.

Once yoongi's and jungkook's shifts were over, jimin and taehyung decided to come over and sit down next to the two who were currently in a booth drinking a frappe.

"so guys we have been thinking hard recently and, taehuung and I thought it would be a good idea to go to the beach this Friday. the weather forecast says it will be sunny all day!" jimin beamed in excitement as he waited for his friend's replies.

"well I think it would be a good idea and a great opportunity for me to get to know you guys more personally, I understand we're already close friends but I'd like to get to know you even better. How about you hyung?"

"huh.. I-I don't know.." yoongi mumbles, "I-i have work f-friday.."

"who says you can't take a day off?" seokjin joins their conversation, "as long as you guys take me too."

"sure." yoongi simply replies.

"alright its a deal! so let's all meet up at the Beach three days from today. Whoever cancels will have to suck yoongi's toes!" jimin cutely giggles as he notices yoongi starting to choke on his coffee.

and so they all pinky promised each other and played several games of rock, paper, scissor to decide who would bring snacks, a cooler, drinks, etc.

I just hope nothing goes wrong this Friday. yoongi quietly thought to himself as he continued to slurp his frappe and talking with his friends.
