The Payment [L&H S.1]

Chapter 8

After two hours of waiting at visitor's room, finally the meeting is done. Sujeong didn't bother to enter at the Director's Board Room, where the meeting was, since she's not a member of the board.

"Hungry? Let's grab some food at the nearest restaurant." Taehyung said.

Sujeong pout. All she want now is to freshen up her mind. She didn't still absorb what was really happening to her now. She had an urge to call her father.

Her father is not a kind of person who will used social media accounts, so she wonder how she can contact him.

"Okay. Anywhere you want." She simply reply. "But I'm still full."

She is not totally hungry because while waiting, Taehyung asked some food delivery for her.

So, Taehyung decided to go to a nearby park not in a restaurant.

"I thought you want to eat?" Sujeong ask right after the car stops at the park.

"You said, you're full." He simply reply. "Come on."

"I thought you're hungry?" She asked again. "We can eat at any place."

"Nah. It will be a waste of money. I am still full because we ate while the meeting was going on."

Happiness was plaster on the children's face while running and playing around the park. The weather is not so hot and not so cold, just average. Many people are just like them, walking around the park as the leaves from the trees started to fall. The wind brush at their faces smoothly.

The two just walk silently besides each other. They are awkward to open up a topic.

"You want to eat ice cream?" Sujeong asked when she saw a man selling an ice cream. Trying to break the awkwardness between them.

"I hate ice cream."

"Okay." and then they continue walking.

Again, silence filled them. No one dares to talk. Sujeong didn't understand herself why she can't able to open up a topic.

"I'm sorry." Taehyung broke the silence.

Sujeong stop from her track and face him. She confusingly look at his handsome face. "For what?"

He scratch his head. "For being rude to you." He  can't even look at her face. He is blushing in just a second. He became serious. "But I won't say sorry about that make-out session we had in my parent's house."

What the! He is back to his old self again.

"Why? Aren't you had a lots of women?"

She was insulted when he said he's not sorry for kissing and touching her!

"I have plenty of women who fall line just to be kissed and be touched, but you're the exception. You are just not my woman, Ryu Sujeong, but my fiancèe and my soon-to-be-wife."

She was totally speechless. Just wow.

Sujeong feel disoriented from her sleep when she feel that someone is sleeping beside her.

As far as she remember, she sleeps alone in her room since Taehyung's room was just next to hers.

She can feel a warm hug behind her. She was shock to see Taehyung! Sleeping besides her. His warm hands was wrap around her waist. While his head was peacefully resting at her shoulder.

He looks like an angel while sleeping. Now, she was able to study his face.

From his perfect eyelashes, down to the perfectly sculpted nose, his cherry like lips that was so sweet when kissed. And to his perfect face.

"Are you done checking my face?" He said while his both eyes were close. His voice is hoarse.

He tighten his hug. Sujeong can feel her hot cheeks, she's blushing. She thought that Taehyung was sleeping.

"I thought you're sleep already." She simply reply.

"I was about to. Good night my Ryuvely."

Sujeong sleep with a smile o  her face. She hope that she can learn to understand him.

She woke up next morning all alone in her bed. She hug the pillow which was used by Taehyung last night. She can smell his scent.

It took her 3 minutes before she set off from the bed and prepare herself.

"Good morning mam." The maids greeted her.

"Good morning, too." She greeted back.

She sleep peacefully last night. She don't even know how and why. Maybe because Taehyung were besides her.

"Where's Taehyung?" She asks one of the maids.

"At the mini library, mam."

So, she head her way to the mini library. The door was slightly open. She was about to hold the doorknob when she heard that Taehyung was talking to someone on the phone.

"I'll be there, Yuju."

She froze to her position. Why does she feel hurt hearing about it. He just said that he'll be there at Yuju but she feel pains. Why?

"If you had Yuju, I have Jangjun with me."
