This is our thing

Teresa POV

Y/N and me were eating lunch outside with everyone else. Alby thought it would be nice to breathe the fresh air while eating our food. We were near our little tree while the others were sitting in their own trees. Laughing and talking were heard all throughout lunch until someone said that they heard something. Everyone went quiet and listened carefully. We heard a voice of a man. He said,

"Since all of you are outside , I thought I would give you guys a little surprise. If you don't know these songs, then they will be heard throughout each time you guys eat lunch."

Then we heard something. It sounded like a rhythm. Once we heard it clearly me and y/n looked at each other. Once we heard those songs, we danced in our way. 

We kept dancing and dancing and we notice the others weren't.

"Why aren't you dancing?" i asked looking at everyone. They all just looked at us like we were crazy. 

"What even is that," said alby walking towards us, confused as hell. We looked the others and they were also confused.

"Wait, you don't know any Disney songs," y/n asked looking like this was so unbelievable. 

"Wait but what if they got their memories back and remembered all those songs instead of us," said gally. The others started to agree but then the man's voice came back.

"They didn't get their memories back, so you guys should know these songs even without your memories"

Well, there's the proof. Girls are smarter than guys. After the songs were over another song came up. 

When the song started, I looked at y/n and she looked like a tomato. 

"Um, y/n, why are you blushing, are you ok," i asked thinking she felt dizzy or something.

"No, it's just the song that's playing," she said referring to the song playing. I looked at her confused and she started singing along to the song, while swaying side to side slowly.

Once the song was over she smiled so big and looked at the others. It soon feel once she saw everyone was surprised. Some were disgusted while others were trying to process what just happened.

"Wait so let me get this straight............... it's that you're not," said newt walking towards me and y/n while pointing a finger towards her.

"Yea, I'm not straight, I'm lesbian," she said with full confidence in her voice. I looked at her and she was happy. Happier than I've ever seen her before. How could she be so confident when she just told some straight guys that they are living in the glade with a lesbian? Guess she's just that strong. 

"Ok, so teresa," he said looking straight into my soul, "Are you.............not straight too?"

I honestly had a mini panic attack which caused y/n to take me into her arms.

"Teresa, don't worry, you don't have to answer if you don't want to," she whispered in my ear while we were hugging. My panic attack quickly went away and that's when I realized. I was not straight. 

"No"

"Then what are you," asked newt again trying to get me to look at him but then y/n pulled me closer to her and looked straight at him.

"WHO is she is what you mean," y/n said, intimidating the others. After for what seemed hours,which in reality was seconds, I finally responded.

"I don't really know but all i know is that I'm not straight either," I said looking towards the others. They started forming a crowd around y/n and me and started telling us to leave the glade since they thought gally was right. I felt like they were disappointed in me. I started to cry and the sounds around us went silent once I started to cry. I held onto y/n like my life depended on it and I looked up at her.

"I don't wanna go, I don't wanna die, not without you with me," I said sobbing into her shirt. I then felt her pick me up and carry me somewhere. When I looked up, I saw that we were in our little hut that we built. I looked at her and she looked back at me. 

What she said next was the reason i fell in love with her.

"Don't let anyone bring you down, and if you don't want to answer the others, don't be afraid to have some pride and do what you truly want, love"
