By the time I knew it, it was Monday. As usual I would get ready, eat breakfast and Ash would come pick me up.
While I waited for Ashley I flicked through my phone, looking at all the messages I ignored from James, I really dreaded math, thankfully I didn't have it today.
Ashley just text me saying she's outside, she normally texts me when she can't be bothered to knock on my door which was regularly. So I wobbled to her car and opened the door and smiled at her. "HEY WHATS UP" she said in a cheerful mood as usual. "I just hate Mondays" I muttered huffing "SAME" "well why are you so happy then" I asked trying to raise an eyebrow even though I couldn't. "IM JUST IN A CHEERFUL MOOD AS USUAL."
We entered school and headed to our lockers to collect our books. I still didn't see James anywhere thank God. "Ever" I heard a familiar voice say, I turn and see Caleb. Caleb was in most of my lessons, I wouldn't say he was really popular but he was 'well known' and was super nice unlike most boys. He was quite hot I was honest, he had naturally tanned skin, dark hair that was combed back, and the perfect face.
"Oh hi Caleb" I said greeting him with a sweet smile, which he returned back. "You know how we had that French presentation, I was wondering if we could work in partners? Its cool if you don't want to though" he looked at me kindly waiting for an answer, aw he was so cute. "Of course so do you wanna come round after school?" I was glad I had someone to do the presentation with, I didn't fancy doing it by myself. "Great, will 6pm be okay?" "Perfect! I'll see you later then" I smiled and walked to Health with Ashley.
"Caleb is hot, I can't believe he's going yours, he's just so hot oh my" she was drooling and looking behind at him in the distance, she was right though, even I couldn't believe he was coming mine. I turned round and saw him talking to his asshole friends, it was a shame he was friends with them, he was way nicer than they could ever be.
As I turned around I bumped into a large figure, I looked up to see James, at least I didn't drop any books this time. "Oh hey" he said awkwardly "hi" I mumbled and walked off dragging Ashley with me before she slapped him, by the look on her face that was gonna be sooner than expected. As soon as I walked of he grabbed my arm to stop me. "Look James Ever doesn't want to talk right now so I suggest you piss off." Ashley warned, you could see the fire in her eyes. "Look I'm sorry can I just talk to you alone just for one minute, it won't be long" I looked at both of them and nodded my head at him in agreement. "I'll see you in Health" I whispered to Ashley, and she nodded and hurried off.
I really couldn't be arsed to hear what he had to say, but in a way I needed to.
