"not this again. please. you've said this joke 4 times today."

"shh, seri, i'm getting to the punchline."

felix ignores her, giving hyunjin his undivided attention. "say 'wing' 10 times really fast."

hyunjin glances between felix and seri but continues on. "wing wing wing wing wi-"

felix snatches the paper off hyunjin's thumbs and holds it up to his ear. "hello?"

he doesn't stay there for long though, for he curls over into a fit of laughter. again. seri snorts but doesn't say anything. meanwhile, hyunjin is laughing just as hard, if not harder.

"isn't it good?" felix asks through his teary eyes. hyunjin can't respond through his laughs. 

"is he ever gonna stop?" jiyeon, hyunjin's girlfriend, asks seri over her phone. seri only shakes her head.

"he will when he comes across the next joke," she sighs, getting up and going into the kitchen for snacks. once felix notices her retreating, he follows after her.

"whatcha doing?"

"making a sandwich. want one?"

"can mine come with a big hug?" felix holds out his arms, that dumb, cheesy smile on his face and eyebrows wiggling. seri rolls her eyes with a smile.

"i don't know... i might be fresh out..." she strokes her chin in faux thought.

"that's fine," felix wraps his arms around her, "you can borrow one of mine and give it back later."

scoffing, seri hugs him back just as tight. "only if you stop telling that dumb joke and hang out with me for the rest of the night."

felix contemplates her bargain. "i don't know... the joke is pretty good..."

"and hanging out with your girlfriend isn't?"

he grins, and she already knows he's about to tease her. rather than stick around, she pulls away with a laugh and returns to making her sandwich. felix's grin doesn't falter, but rather he plants a kiss on her temple.

"i'll put mulan on in my room," is all he says before getting ready to spend the rest of his night with her. of course, seri hears felix say "wing wing wing" as he passes by hyunjin and jiyeon on the couch, making the other idol laugh.

when seri comes in with their sandwiches, felix is already waiting on his bed -- laptop in front of him and blankets around him. taking his plate from her, he gives her another brief kiss on the cheek.

"thanks, babe. do you think we could go out for dinner?"

seri hums around her sandwich, looking at him with question written in her eyes. felix continues.

"we should go get... chicken wing wing wing wing wings."
