Chapter 6

I curl the ends of my hair before touching up my make up. Half an hour until we need to leave, I'm so nervous to see Beau again after all that's happened but I'm so excited at the same time. I look over to my best friend, I wouldn't want to share this experience with anyone else, she looks so excited as she applies eyes liner to her top lid with a huge smile plastered among her face.

"Ready girls?" My mum shouts up and my stomach flips, it's actually happening.

We both run down the stairs greeting my mother at the bottom with a smile taking over her face, I can tell she is so excited for us even though she doesn't like them. I never told her what happened between me and Beau, I just told her than we've won a competition for the backstage passes.

We step into the car and turn on Real Girls Eat Cake whilst me and a Ruby sing, well shout along to the lyrics.

"I can't believe you are meeting them" my mum says excitedly and reality hits me. This is all surreal, like one day I will wake up and I'm just a normal, unnoticed fan. I send a huge smile to Ruby who returns it, twice as big.

The car pulls up outside the O2 Academy and the queue of girls waiting seems endless. We show the security our special laminated cards that are held around our necks and they guide us to the boys. The saying 'you can hear them before you see them' definitely applies here as I can just hear screaming coming from Jai then returned by James.

"You made it!" James shouts over to us and we run over to the group of boys sat in the corner of the stage. We both hug them all in turn, Ruby holding Luke extra tight and longer than the rest.

I sit next to Beau who keeps fiddling with my hair around his finger.

"You amused by that?" I laugh as I watch the concentration in his face as the hair unwinds from his finger.

"Yeah, it's fucking strange" he laughs taking more hair and wrapping it around his fingers. "It's so soft" he says casually and everyone starts to laugh at him.

I look over to Ruby who seems deep in conversation with Luke, her almost sat on his lap. I love how happy she is, how happy the boys make her. I can't help but look back at Beau and his shining green eyes seeming to draw me to him. He is so much more beautiful in person.

Ruby's POV

"Yeah I know" he sighs "but what else can we do?" he asks and my mind races for all possibilities, but nothing.

"I don't know" I give in and his face drops. He takes his lip ring between his teeth, making his lips look irresistible.

"Can we go somewhere private?" he asks and I nod. He stands to his feet and holds his hand out to help me up. I follow him to their dressing room and take a seat on the leather sofa next to Luke.

"I really should tell her" I say, my guilty mind taking the better of me and he nods. "If he doesn't today, I will, sound good?" I ask and he smiles at me and nods once again. He takes his hand and tucks a piece of hair behind my ear and stares into my eyes, my instincts tell me that he's going to kiss me, but my brain objects, he's Luke Brooks, why would he want to kiss just another fan? He smiles at me and pulls away more, I knew it, I knew he wouldn't kiss me, but I really wanted him to.

"Luke, you're on stage in 10 and you aren't even fucking dress, what are you doing?" Daniel bursts into the room. Luke takes his attention away from me and looks at Daniel and nods.

"Okay, I'll be ready" he says and jumps up from the chair and pulls of some black skinny jeans and a blue top of of the hanger. Within a second he is pulling down his shorts and jumping into his jeans that seem way too right for him, then pulling his top over his head, I watch his back muscles flex as he puts his too back on the hanger.

"Stop checking me out you pervert" he laughs and turns around so I am in full view of his perfectly toned torso and the dogs are gonna bark tattoo on his hip. I can't help but stare. He pulls the blue top on over his head blocking my view of his tanned bare skin.

He leads me out to the other boys who are getting hyped up ready for the show, I walk over to Danni who is in guys of laughter at something they must've done.

"Right, you can wait there" Jai points over to a spot at the side of the stage where we can see them perfectly. James and Daniel run onto the stage and the crowd roars. Minutes later Beau, Jai and Luke follow leaving me and Danni alone to watch the performance.

"You need to hurry up" James shouts at Luke who is having problems getting into his dress.

"How do you girls do this?" he asks rather stressed out as he realises he has put his leg through the arm hole. Whilst I laugh at his failed attempt to put on a dress, I look over to Danni who is combing through Beaus wig with her fingers as Beau climbs into his dress.

After Luke has finally got his dress on Daniel climbs up onto the stage holding the dress and wig in his arms. The introduction starts playing and I watch as Daniel swiftly climbs into his dress and places his wig on.

"You all look great" Danni laughs as she looks around the boys all dressed as Elsa.

"Every Elsa needs a snapback" Beau laughs and places his SnapBack over the blonde wig.

They run up onto the stage and me and Danni both burst into fits of laughter as we watch them prancing around the stage to Let It Go.
