Chapter 16

I'm awoken by a loud vibrating noise coming from the bedside table. My phone. I pick it up and let my eyes adjust to the brightness. Mum. Shit.

"Hello?" I groan down the phone. It's 10am and she's calling me, what time does she expect me to be waking up.

"Where the hell are you, you better not be with them boys still, they aren't good for you Danni" she shouts down the phone. I've completely forgotten to call her over the past few days since Beau spoke to her last week.

"Mum, mum" I begin but Beau stirs next to me and sits up. He groans and stretches his arms out.

"Who's that?" he groans and I sigh, I know she probably heard that.

"That's him isn't it?" she shouts, I can almost feel her fury through the phone. "Danni I've been watching their videos, reading about how many times they've been arresting and seen the twitcam you do last night. I am not happy" she scolds. She can't tell me what to do. I'm 18 years old, I can do what I want.

"Mum I'm 18, you can't tell me who I hang around with" I shout back and it sounds like she growls on the other end. "And by the way, I'm dating Beau, just to top it off" I say arrogantly and hang up. I know I'm going to get an earful soon, but for now I just want to sleep.

I wake up with hundreds of texts from my mum telling me to come home and that I shouldn't be ignoring her like this, when in reality I am 18 years old, she can't tell me what to do anymore.

"Who rang you so early this morning?" Beau groans, he props himself up on one hand and looks at me. His hair like a nest on his forehead, his eyes as green as ever. I take in this beautiful sight knowing if my mum makes me come home, I'll never see it again.

"My mum, she's telling me to come home, she's not happy that I'm with you and still hanging around with all of you" I answer truthfully and his face drops, he probably thinks that I'm going to leave, but if it was down to me I wouldn't, and I won't unless my mum physically drags me out.

"Oh right, has she watched our videos and seen how fucking messed up we are?" he laughs trying to half heart the subject, but I can tell it was a forced laugh.

"Exactly it" I stifle a laugh but it comes out more of a cough. "But I'm not leaving. I've had the best time of my life and I'm not going stop just because my mum told me to, I'm 18 years old, she can't tell me what to do anymore" I rant and he side smiles slightly. He's so cute when he does that.

Today we are going to Dublin. I've never been to Ireland and I'm so excited to see what it's like, it's supposed to be beautiful and I can't contain my excitement. I text my mum telling her we are going to Dublin, even though I won't go home, she still has the right to know where we are.

I bounce in my seat, trying to get rid of some of my excitement, only to make the others laugh at me.

"Bit excited?" Beau laughs and strokes the back of my hair, making everyone coo.

"Just a bit, I've never been Ireland before and I've always wanted to go" I bounce and he lets out a little 'aw' and kisses me on the cheek.

"Have you ever been?" Luke asks Ruby who's sitting on his lap and looks nearly as excited as I do.

"Nope" she smiles down at him. And laces her fingers in his curls.

"You're going to love this then, we will make a free day and we can go sight seeing, yeah?" Ronnie chimes back, making us all 'woop' with excitement. I can't believe that I've done most of my life goals, this week, now all I really want to do is see a dolphin.
