(8) Our Family

-Two months later-

Bucky had Hensley move in with him a few weeks after they started dating. Bucky was doing a patient's chart after surgery "Hey James' Hensley whispered 

"Hey baby what are you doing down here?' he said as he kissed her. 

"Um we need to talk.." she said in his ear.

"Everything okay?' he said 

"Yea I just um we need to talk about something." she said 

"Baby you are scaring me what's wrong?' he said as he closed the chart and put back on the nurse's station. 

"Come with me." she said and pulled him into a on call room. "Baby if you wanted sex you could of just said so." as he kissed her as he pulled her closer. "Baby wait please.." she said as he put her against the door.

"Hensley what is it?' he said as he put hands on either side of her head.

She swallowed hard and looked down "I'm pregnant.." she said 

He lifted her chin "Baby.." he said 

"We just started dating two months ago and I"m scared what if it wasn't all the abuse from your brother what if it was me all this time." she whispered as tears welled.

 "Baby breathe look at me we will go see Natasha okay. It's fine baby I"m not mad you did tell me that we may have done this when you told me that we were in your grace period when we started dating. " he said as he wiped away her tears. 

"So you are not upset or anything?' she said 

"No baby it's fine I swear" he said 

"Okay.." she said 

She kissed him he locked the door and he started to strip her down as they went over to the bed and had sex in the on call room. Once they were done they were laying there and he said "God baby that was amazing" as he let out a breathe. 

A few hours later they went to Natasha's office cause he texted her and asked to work in Hensley. Natasha set up the ultrasound exam room she said "This will be cold Hensley." as she put the gel on Hensley's stomach. 

Hensley closed her eyes as Natasha started to move the wand all over her stomach. "BUM BUM BUM BUM" was heard throughout the room.

"9 weeks along guys. We are due in June one baby and everything looks amazing." Natasha said 

Bucky kissed her forehead and said 'See everything is fine" 

Natasha cleaned off her stomach as she watched them together. Bucky was all smiles with her a smile she hasn't seen on her best friend in a few years. "Okay guys come back next month and get you some prenatal vitamins." Natasha said 

"Okay. Thank you Dr Romanoff." Hensley said as Bucky helped her set up. 

"Welcome. " Natasha said 

She walked out with Bucky as Hensley started to get dressed. Natasha hugged him and he said "Um Nat.." 

"I haven't seen that smile in a long damn time James Buchanan. It's so good to see you happy again Buck. She has put the light back in your smile and eyes that hasn't been there." Natasha

Bucky smiled and said "I'm so damn happy Nat. I want to spend the rest of my life with that girl and this time I know for sure she's my meant to be." 

Hensley walked out and said "I'm ready." 

"Good let's go eat." Bucky said as they walked out of Natasha's office and headed to dinner with his parents. 

A month later was Christmas they were at his family's Christmas dinner. Bucky had her sitting on his lap and being so cute and adorabley in love with each other. "So we have to make the announcement baby." he whispered 

"Okay let's do it baby." she said 

He helped her up and Bucky said "Um me and my girlfreind Hensley have an announcment to make." 

Winnie was standing behind James "Go ahead honey" 

He smiled and said "Hensley is 13 weeks pregnant she's due in June." as he moved her sweater to show her baby bump. 

Winnie smiled so big and walked over to them and hugged them both. "Congratulations." she said as she put her hands on her baby bump. 

James came over and said "About damn time you bless me with grandbabies son.. you are the only one that can carry on the name." as he hugged Bucky.

"I know dad." Bucky said 

Everyone else came over to congratulate them. Margaret said "James you do plan on marrying this girl right?" 

"We haven't discussed that yet grandma." Bucky said 

"James Buchanan." Margaret said

"Grandma.. I just got out of a 12 year marriage." Bucky said 

"Well I am happy that this one is yours but I would very much like to see you two get married before you have anymore after this James. " she said

"It will be a topic of discussion when we are ready grandma" he said 

"Okay.." Margaret said 

"And you .. your mama would love to be here sweetheart. Belinda was an amazing woman and I can see so much of you in her Hensley and I'm so glad that you are blessing me with a grandbaby."Margaret said 

'Thank you." Hensley said as Margaret held her hand.
