Hiro's POV

Goro: "You're engaged!?" Goro spluttered as we told the gang the news.

Kokoro: "Y-you can't be serious right? I-I mean, we're still in High School! We have a whole year left!" Kokoro added, standing up at the gesture.

Ikuno: "I think we all knew this was going to happen at some point." Ikuno interjected, holding up her hand to motion order at the flabbergasted table.

Ichigo: "Well, I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty sure they would've done it with or without our blessings." Ichigo admitted, smiling.

Zorome: "Hiro beat me at something!?" Zorome shouted, not worrying about what we were talking about.

Futoshi: "Well, I'll be the first to say...you have my blessing!" Futoshi announced, standing up and puffing put his chest proudly.

Ichigo & Goro: "A-and ours!" Ichigo and Goro added, in unison.

Miku: "This is all happening so fast..." Miku exclaimed, holding her head a little. "...but you have my blessing..." She then sighed.

Kokoro: "I wish the best of luck to both of you!" Kokoro added, along with Mitsuru; who nodded in agreement.

Seeing the mixed faces of jubilance, confusion, and acceptance; I smiled and looked at Iota.

Hiro: "You see? I told you they'd be fine with it..." I whispered, pecking Iota's cheek.

Iota: "Call me Zero Two at school okay?" Zero Two asked, holding up her index finger the same way she had when we first met. "Remember...it's a secret!" She then added.

Zorome: "What's a secret?" Zorome asked, leaning in a little.

Hiro: "It's nothing Zorome, just a little secret Zero Two and I have." I explained.

Goro: "Don't tell me..." Goro started before he was interrupted by Ichigo.

Ichigo: "No Goro! I highly doubt that!" Ichigo blurted, her face going red.

Zero Two and I looked at them with confusion. Leaning our heads sideways, the gang. Looked up at us and laughed. Not knowing what was going on, we laughed a little too; until the bell rang.

Zero Two: "I wonder if the news has spread about us." Zero Two speculated, gazing at all the onlookers.

The onlookers, who by this were whispering in each other's ears, caught sight of our hands; which were intertwined, and Zero Two's ring.

Girl: "Oh! So it's true! Zero Two I'm so happy for you!" One girl exclaimed, grasping Zero Two's hand.

A crowd soon started to form around us, and Nana-senpai emerged from her room to disperse it. Watching all the students as the scattered, she gave us a loving smile.

Nana: "Congratulations you two...I hope your lives will be full of happiness and joy..." Nana-senpai sighed, pulling us both into a hug. "This year is all we have left for you two, so study hard! Make sure you two can stand on your own feet! If necessary, lean on each other!" Nana advised.

At this time the students, coming in from the cafeteria, appeared into view; and she hushed is into our seats. Giving us a wink as the closed the door, she began the morning announcements.

Hiro: She's just like a mother...I thought, fiddling with the necklace Zero Two had bought in return for her engagement ring.

Zero Two and I often exchanged glances and, unlike before, we smiled at each other. Looking out the window, I sighed with relief as I tried to recall all the events that had happened; it all seemed so fast, but so long ago.

Goro: "Hiro!" I heard Goro whisper.

Turning my head, I saw Goro showing me his phone, there was a picture of a couple on it; and as I leaned in to look, I saw a news headline on it.

"Loving couple, separated by a car crash, finds each other again!" The title read, and I chuckled a little as I looked.

Goro: "Seems like you two are a couple of the week." Goro whispered, sliding his phone back into his pocket.

Hiro: "Yeah, it seems so..." I agreed, looking at Zero Two again, who was promptly paying full attention.

Hiro: I'm going to be married huh...? Seems like such a distant dream right now...I thought, as Zero Two and I strolled around the park.

Zero Two: "Da-arling! You need to pay attention!" Zero Two explained, moving me a little so I didn't step into a passerby.

Hiro: "Sorry darling, I was spacing out." I replied, sheepishly.

Zero Two then took my hand and interlocked our fingers.

Zero Two: "We're going to be married soon aren't we?" She pondered, looking at the ring.

Hiro: "Seems like a dream doesn't it?" I answered, holding my hand over her ring.

Zero Two: "Yeah..." she muttered, gripping me tighter.

As we walked along, I thought I could see two children playing around a cherry blossom tree, one with a book, the other with bright white hair.

Hiro: Love huh...? I never thought about it until I met her, all over again. I never thought about it because, I thought I didn't have to; but now, I'm getting married? This is just too good...
