It's almost sunset by the time I get back, although I did get a little lost once. Possibly twice. Definitely more than once. I'm a little winded when I finally show up in front of the cave, probably because I was running most of the way, jogging occasionally.

As soon as I trot up to the entrance, I see Tala, her face worried. She sees me and her expression chances entirely. All the sudden, her eyebrows furrow and she glares, storming up to me. If she wasn't a preteen, I'd probably have been terrified by the look on her face.

She starts yelling in Trigedasleng and I catch most of it, but there are a few words I have yet to learn. Gist is, she's pissed. As soon as she reaches me, she slaps me hard on the cheek.

"What the hell?" Tala finally shrieks. I'm shocked by the slap and quite tired, having run for a lot more than a few miles, and I have no idea what to say.

"Lincoln and I have been looking everywhere for you! We thought Trikru had found you, or Azgeda! Do you know how bad that would be if they caught you? You'd be tortured and killed before you have to time to realize what happened! Are you going to say anything?" She sounds out of breath and there hasn't been enough time to speak between her screaming at me, so I have no idea how to respond. A long pause ensues.

I finally get the nerve to speak.

"I... I saw the crash... the Ark-"

"The Ark what? I saw something fall from the sky but it could've been anything!"

"Tala-"

"What?" She shrieks. I look at her, feeling bad but almost laughing at how angry she seems. Shaking my head, I grin, actually grin and almost laugh. "Why are you smiling?" Tala yells in my face once more.

Trying my hardest to quit grinning so broadly, I bite my lip and gently take her arm, leading her inside. She tears her arm from my grip, still furious but following nonetheless. We round the corner, entering the wide room I call 'the living room' and I stop, turning to her.

"A dropship from the Ark crashed." I say. Tala watches me, squints, and shakes her head, frowning. Still a little mad, but now curious I imagine.

"And?" She asks, annoyance evident in her words. I'm trying to let her be interested enough to lose the attitude and I have her right where I want her.

Thinking about my words and debating what exactly to say, I grin.

"I never told you how I got here, how I ended up on earth. I wasn't exactly certain at first, but I know who sent me."

"So..? Who sent you?" Tala seems to have lost all of her anger. I did my job well. I only hope that I can have her and Lincoln's help in my plan for the 100.

"My, um, my boyfriend. Theo." I tell her, feeling a little emotional finally bringing it up. But that doesn't stop my excitement. "I don't know if he was on the dropship, but I was there, I saw the kids from the Ark, I know what their plan is. But Tala, I need your help."

"What do you need?" Tala says immediately, looking a bit concerned but also a little... excited maybe?

She was the one who saved me, who brought me here, possibly with a little prodding from Lincoln, but nonetheless she's attached to all human life. The girl may be young and naive, but she's kind and not as savage as she comes across or as ruthless as most of her people are. I know for a fact that Tala would get along with the 100, she might even care about them like I know she cares about me.

She will help, I truly believe that. But Lincoln? I'm hoping he will, but with that whole group of kids, he may just decide to go the Grounder way. If it comes to it, I will do my best to stop him from hurting them.
