It's been a week since I ran to the park. Surprisingly Billie hasn't bothered me. I think that it has something to do with the fact that Hansol has been around a lot more.

He's really cool, and we've become really close. I found out that he goes to the same college and that we even have some basic classes together. We only have the required mathematics, business, and workforce classes. It's because I'm a business major and he's still undecided. He's not my only friend, of course, but he's definitely beginning to fill the empty position of best friend. Our dorms are in two different buildings, but both are door to door, meaning boys and girls are on the same floor, but not in the same dorm. So he comes over often. I haven't been to his dorm again after the first time. He warned me about his roommate, but I thought he was exaggerating until we walked in on him and his girlfriend, and they didn't stop. We decided to either hang out at my dorm or go out.

It feels like we've known each other for a long time, which we discovered wasn't far off. He went to school with Daniel and they were really good friends until they separated for college. Yes, he's a year older than me, but he took a gap year to travel to South Korea.

Today we're meeting up ice cream by the park that we met at. As I'm getting ready I hear a laugh, but decide to ignore it. It's probably just a noisy neighbor, I tell myself, not wanting to believe the voice I heard. It can't be her because I made her up in my demented head to torment myself when I'm stressed. And I'm not stressed anymore, I'm happy, so she's not here.

Once I finished getting ready, I start walking towards the park, but the laughing won't stop. It's as if she's right behind me, but every time I turn around I don't see anyone. I'm starting to panic, and I can feel the tears ready to fall, so I don't hear my name being called. I keep walking with my hands over my ears.

Then I feel a gently firm hand on my shoulder and turn me around. "Hey, you passed the shop," he chuckles lightly. Then he sees my distress. "Are you okay? You look almost as tousled as when we first met." The laughing stopped. That's when I realized that he's reason Billie hasn't been around. Because he makes me happy.

I think I like him.
