Molly
It's been a month since we go ice cream, and Hansol confessed his feelings for me. We're going on our third date in a couple of days. I'm really excited! We have so much fun and he makes me feel loved. I have not been this happy in so long.
I'm currently skipping to class. Yes, like a child. Catching myself, I stop because I'm getting judgmental stares. I was switched to higher math class, so today's my first day.
Walking into class, my teacher just tells me to sit in the back at the empty table. But, when I look, it isn't empty. I think nothing of it at first, but after sitting down, I go to meet my new desk mate only to find her staring at me. Panic immediately rises within me and and she smiles. Then she frowns, and her frown is deep. I mean really deep. It's as if her face is melting, because soon her eyes follow, popping out of her sockets slowly. And with a deep, scratchy voice she says, "He's cheating on you." My breathing is heavy, but I can't hear it. I can't hear anything. But it's so loud.
"Ms. Jennings? If you're not going to pay attention, could at least stop being a distraction for others? If there's an issue with that, you can leave my class," the teacher states. Looking around, all eyes are on me. Turning back, she's gone.
"I-I-I'm fine, please continue," I stutter.
As class continues, I stare blankly at my notebook, thinking about what just happened. I thought Hansol was keeping her away, but she waits to get my hopes up, just to break them down. This whole time she has never left, she just wanted to stretch my fear to the limit.
Then, there was what she said. Of course I would never believe her, but why would she just say that? Out of all things? I really like him, but he's not my most sensitive spot. She knows my fears better than I do, so why would she think I would even believe that?

*Hey, Molly! I'm so sorry, but I can't meet with you today. Something came up, I hope you can forgive me.
**It's fine, we can always reschedule. Good luck with whatever you're doing!
I outwardly sigh, starting to strip from my night dress and makeup. Then, stupidly, I remember what Billie said. Hansol never said what he was doing...
Shaking my head vigorously I hit my legs. I can't believe her.
But, this is the fourth date in a row that Hansol's cancelled. Always with some excuse, but this time, he didn't even bother to tell me why. I don't know what I should think.
