Opening my eyes again, I notice some guys peeing on the stone next me. It's completely dark outside, and they look as if they'd had one to many drinks, reeking of alcohol. Disgusting humans. One starts to turn around, still peeing, and I push him down hard. He seems to sober up and starts to look bug eyed.

"What happened? Scared of a little wind, scaredy ass?" the other boy jokes. I lift him up and toss him into a nearby tree, letting out a cynical laugh. He looks like he's on the edge of consciousness. That's what they deserve. Disrespecting the dead is something even I don't do. And I can't help it if they were about to pee on her grave, they made me this angry.

I make myself visible to them, but I'm not myself. I'm a six foot, hairy beast with sharp snarling teeth. My eyes are glowing red, and I create obvious stab wounds in my skin.

I bend down to the first guys level and look him in the eye, he starts to cry. I breathe a long hot breath into his face and he winces. Grabbing him by his collar, I drag him to his friend, throwing him on top of his already dizzy friend. I visibly scowl at them.

"Leave. I never want to see you back here," I growl. I watch as the scurry away.

I feel the hairs on my body stand up, and sigh as I return to my original form. Turning around with a bored look on my face, I see a disgusting man in a red suit frowning at me.

"Awe, why'd you do that? Why'd you let them get away?" he questions. "Oh! Did you want to make a game out of it? C'mon, let's play!" he reaches for me.

I pull away before he can touch me. "What do you want?"

"I can't visit my favorite Nightmare? I miss you," he fake pouts. My face of steel causing him to sigh, "Fine. I wanted to check up on you. See how the assignment is going."

"You know all about it, cut the bullshit," I spit.

"Of course I can see, and I just wanted to remind you of the consequences of failing me. You wouldn't want your babygirl in infinite turmoil, would you?" At this I my blood starts to boil, but I can't have an outbreak.

"I know, don't worry. I'm taking it slow, dragging out the fear. Getting her trust me, so I can crush her." I'm lying.

He clearly is skeptical, "Alright then, I see you really haven't lost your touch. I'm expecting her soul within the next year, so don't take too long," he pauses. "I'd really love to chat more," he grips my chin between his thumb and forefinger, "but you've got a job to finish."

And he's finally gone.

What an I gonna do?
