I stood up, brushing off the dust and started walking towards the entrance of the warehouse. I could see all of them chatting from a distance. With every step, I sped up. The excitement to find out the answers was fathomless.

As soon as I entered, I saw their faces go pale. More than anyone, Isla's.

"First conclusion: You aren't very good at reading people," I said judgmentally, "I mean, I thought I was in the papers and all, but dang! There are people so ignorant yet trying to "solve" the crimes."

"Our first conclusion: You aren't really good with the people," Isla replied instantly.

"If I weren't, my friend Kay here wouldn't be making fool of you," I said high-fiving Kay, "good job, little one."

"I am not that little, you know."

"For me, you are." I smiled. "You can go now Kay, money will be delivered to you."

"Sure," she said and exited.

As soon as she was out, I turned towards them, "So what is your problem? I mean I heard you want to be like me, but prove it."

"What?"

"Oh good Lord, you don't understand anything! You wanted to do things on your own, just like me. No?" I questioned.

"Uh―" Isla replied, "not really."

"Only you do the talking?"

"No," she said. I could clearly see the her getting annoyed.

"Okay, enough of the introduction. Just tell me everything as truthfully as possible," I demanded.

"So basically, you know that we are doing everything for a good cause. Mostly, passion."

"Hmm―I see," I murmured, "well, if that's the case then why the Police so desperately wanted me to get you?"

"Look, as you know...." Zayden started to explain but we all were startled by a thrash.

"Shhhh....." Isla said taking the pistol out from the back pocket of her black jeans. We all started to tiptoe towards the parking lot as it was from where the sound came. Isla was in the front, then myself, then Zayden and Ölek, at the back.

As soon as Isla put her right foot out, we heard the gunshots and everyone plunged to the ground.

TO THE BACK DOOR NOW! IT'S THE POLICE.
