After the two brothers left, not to forget while glaring at each other, I didn't understand those two I mean before seeing his brother Carter was so worried sick threatening people on the phone but then after meeting his injured brother all his worriedness disappeared like a smoke. Were they on drugs or what? I shouldn't really think about them, now that they have left for good, my life will go back to normal without any Alexander or any guns or any of those things.
So after they left I cleaned the whole apartment and washed the blood stained bedsheets and when I was finished with all of that I sat on the couch and patiently waited for Maya. You gonna get it today, I told you not to mess up with my ringtones anymore but you had to not to listen to me like always
I was plotting the various types of revenge plans against Maya that I didn't even noticed when I drifted off to a peacful sleep, a sleep I was longing for a long time~~
I was awaken by a loud bang of the door like someone just closed- no KICK the door really hard
"Forrest I am back~" Maya singsong loudly yet dramatically like she just returned home after years.
She entered the living room and came to where I was laying in the couch.
She was smiling coming towards me but stopped dead on her track and her smile soon dropped too seeing me glaring at her.
She looked like she really was scared, that dramatic witch. After embarrassing me she won't get away that easily.
"What happened why are you looking at me like that?" She asked hesitantly while backing away when she saw I was slowly getting up like a predator.
"No nothing it's just someone really pissed me off by changing my ringtone even after telling that person not to do it like a thousand times" and with she started running while screaming like a mad woman and me running after her, damn she was fast.
"I swear it was the last time, I won't do it anymore" she screamed when I almost caught her, she stood behind the chair in the kitchen while I stood in front of it, looks like she is trapped haha where will she go now~~
"Of course you won't do it anymore because you'll be dead in the next few minutes" I smirked and in the next second my hands and her poor hair were in contact and they were in no mood of letting it go any moment soon.
"Ow ow let me go you monke-"
"What? Again?" I asked her pretending to be shocked
"I said fuck you monkey" she said moving back and forth while my grip on her hair got tighter.
"Ok sorry sorry I swear I won't do it anymore, just let it go, will ya? it fucking hurts so much" oh? Oh yeah I forgot she easily gets hurts even with a small tug on her hair? How could I forget that? Well let's just suppose that I intentionally forgot that for a while haha (evil laugh)
"Promise me you won't do it anymore"
"Promise! Promise! I fucking promise you that I Maya Blake will never ever touch your phone again let alone change your ringtone and now let me go~~" yet again dramatic! she made cute whining noises at the end and I quickly let her go, that's more like my Maya.
"Now be a good kid and help me cook something for dinner, will ya" I left her in the kitchen to get my phone I have an interview tomorrow for a nanny job- yeah yeah I know a medical student and nanny job but what can I do? I've got no other options or jobs so I gotta be grateful for what I get or for what I receive, right?
"Kid-? Really? I am just two years younger than you! TWO YEARS! you get that, so if you are an adult then so am I" she shouted from the kitchen while I just chuckled and grabbed my phone.
Just I was to unlock my phone it rang loudly alarming a phone call.
Jane calling~
Actually the one who needs me as a nanny is her boss, where she works as a secretary, I had asked her help and thankfully she had mentioned me to her boss and guess what? He asked for a interview right away, like tomorrow.
"Hi Jane"
"Hello Forrest this important, you know about the interview, right?" She said frantically making me anxious suddenly.
"Yeah it's tomorrow, right? What about it?" I asked calmly, this was my last hope I really don't want lose my only chance to such nice work with a good pay.
"The thing is Forrest that you have to do the interview in... excatly 30 minutes"
"What! But-"
"No buts you are wasting your time already, go get ready and get to the address I send you ok and be there at 6:30? And I promise I'll explain just not now, you have to get this interview done" she quickly hanged up before I could say something and I just stood there speechless staring at my now turned-black-screened phone.
Oh god I shouldn't be standing here, I checked the time and it was already 18:03 oh no- only 27 minutes. Forrest you better hurry
I ran into the bedroom and opened the closet, took anything that came into my grasp first and that happened to be two pair of jeans- wait I can't wear only jeans- maybe I should wear a simple formal dress. No no I don't have time for that~
I tend to panic a lot when I am in a hurry or nervous or any of those situations, so right now I am basically shaking.
Maya entered the room when I pulled my jeans up til my waist.
"Hey I thought we were gonna cook dinner- wait why are you in a hurry." She pointed towards my shirt which was stuck between my neck and arm as i was trying to pull it down so I could wear it.
"I have a meeting at 6:30 and it's important, about the job" I replied and finally pulling the shirt down.
"Right now?" She asked confused looking down at her wrist watch
"Yeah" i quickly brushed my hair and did it in a decent pony tail.
"But it's already 12 past 6" she exclaimed while opening he closet.
"What! No way! I have to hurry, why times goes so fast just when I don't want it" I angrily mumbled and picked my phone from the table and basically run to the door.
"Hey hey wait where do you think you are going without your coat or socks, or maybe you forgot that it's still winter" oh yeah was I really going without those while it's basically storm-snowing outside? Maya shook her head while coming towards me with a smile on her lips.
I took my coat from her and quickly wore it and she gave me one of her those wool socks- oh no I hate those, they are so warm and my feet sweat every time I wear them. I was about to argue-
"Don't even Forrest! And anyway you are already running late so it's better if you listen to me and wear these and start running hmm" she looked at me with one of her you-better-do-as-i-say-or-else look and I quickly wore them without uttering a word.
"Ok bye" I waved at her and was ready to go when she stopped me.
"Goodluck and i think you are forgetting this!" She waved my scarf and without saying anything I quickly grab it and went out.
Here it is, i know this was a bit boring one of a chapter, but i promise I will come with a better one next time so stay tuned. And one more thing my exams just got finished so that means I will update more yayay
