poem one: broken compass

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

All alone on this dirt road with no place to stay

So many worries that flood my mind

How much longer will I be astray

Will I be able to find a way or will I stay behind

The only thing keeping me going is this broken compass in my hand

When I do drift away from the road and into the seas

The compass will be the one to bring me back to land

It will stop me from dropping onto my knees

It will be the one that points me towards my real aspiration

This object will guide me to my success

A success for those of my nation

One that will have me in finesse
