Now that you aren't by my side

There's this empty space in my heart where you used to be

No matter how many times I cried

My soul will never be free

Nothing will ever be the same

There's no way to break this habit of mine

The one where I call your name

Maybe it's tangled in the vine

Sometimes I wish it was you that had to go through the pain

I want you to be the one to think of me

I need to be free from this chain

Sadly, wishing this would not be the key

I feel like I lost everything when you left

I think that I need to forget you but I can't erase you from my mind

Maybe the relationship was bereft

Now here I am left behind

Left behind with these painful memories of you

All while you enjoy the sky view
